This restaurant had the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The staff were extremely rude and behaved as if they were above everyone else

Definitely not worth it.
The guy that took my order didn’t seem to care. Zero hospitality.
I ordered medium fries and Indian chicken curry.
Then they messed up my order, I wanted to dine in but they prepared my food for a take away instead.
The fries were good. The curry was not good at all. It was watery and the chicken was not much. The rice was ok.
Also, no ac.

The cash machine on the outside of this place has a kind of mountain design. Perhaps this is not unexpected in Switzerland, but still, it’s much more attractive than most cash machines. Well done bank people. The cash machine belongs to Bank Eki, which also has some cash machines in stations, which sets up a nice linguistic double take.

Absolutely worthless restaurant, doesn’t even deserve a single star. So we went there on 1st January 2026, evening around 6pm. The main person kind of supervisor side partitioned hair was absolutely rude, denied taking order nd was hell blunt on us leaving from the restaurant nd asking us to try restaurants in interlaken west. The restaurant should be closed if they are very selective on taking orders or if they cater to only bulk orders. He was very adamant on we either giving him bulk meal orders or leave, never in any country v have faced such a thing. Absolutely disgraceful!

Should’ve read reviews first… their Indian fare may be good. “May”. I haven’t tried. They do have a huge burger menu option, with (upon trying) deceptively good looking burgers. So we got burgers with fries.
Fries are like $9. Burgers are $13+. Got the combo with burger, fries, and coke for $22. So glad we didn’t get the “hulk” set, which was $29. Crazy prices for burgers we wouldn’t get at McDonald’s.
I think their patties were made a few days ago and then microwaved before being served. Ugh. Though, overly salty, and not sure where the “garlic” comes from in this “garlic burst” burger.
This is NOT where to go for burgers!!

Food was good. We ordered veg paneer deluxe burger, spicy chicken burger with chai and samosas. The service was prompt and dishes were served fresh and hot. Owner Mr Sharma himself come and we had some chat. Great food and must try this restaurant to feel at home away from home. Cost will seem higher but we are in Switzerland which is one of costliest place so shouldn’t expect low cost as this will
Impact service.

Located right after you exit the trains from Interlaken, they have signboard all over to draw your attention. They server burgers and also a lot of Indian food. Very expensive side but typical of Swiss. We ordered samosa and Chai. Samosa tastes okay. Some of the potatoes were uncooked or had a bad taste. We thought we would have dinner on our return but skipped due to time. Staff gives a strange look difficult to tell whether they want you there or not.. lol..

Unfortunately it was really hot. and there was no ac. However the maharaja burger was really good and enjoyable. Would recommend if you are a vegetarian. Also the samosa was really flavorful as well. However the lady working there was rude and brought us the wrong order 2 times. Overall would recommend if you are in the area!

This so-called Indian café at Interlaken railway station is shockingly overpriced with terrible food quality. As an Indian traveler, I was appalled not only by the food but by the rude and unacceptable behavior of the owner, Amit.
I witnessed an Indian tourist quietly sitting with his suitcases – clearly waiting for a train – and the owner walked up and rudely ordered him to leave simply because he hadn’t ordered anything. The tone and attitude were completely disrespectful, especially considering this is a public place near a station.
This kind of treatment is disgraceful. No Indian should support a business that shows such disrespect to fellow Indians. There are far better and more welcoming places to eat in Interlaken. Don’t waste your money or dignity here

This place is right outside the Interlaken OST railway station.
They have small catchy billboards that will be noticed by Indian “ Hindi” speaking folks … like chaddifad chai and sharmaji ke samose.
We didn’t venture into their non-Indian menu which was basically burgers & fries. The samosas were amazing, even for the hefty price tag they felt right. they are fried piping hot for your order and taste devine.
The veg curry and dal option is also great.
If you are in Interlaken and missing Desi food this is a good option for some decent Indian food.
