So this shop makes all of their ice cream daily from scratch. They get all of their cream from Forest Lake, MN. They are a local shop and a hot spot. Expect a line most of the day. Their prices are incredibly fair and they have a clean lobby to eat your ice cream in.
We came right as they opened with a large group and they were extremely friendly. We ended up having a conversation as each person ordered, all of us with something different. Like their name, they really are a superior creamery. You will absolutely love the flavors here.
We travel often and eat from a creamery or ice cream shop everywhere we go. It’s a family tradition we have and this place easily ranks in our top two. Try them out and you will not be disappointed. We loved their ice cream so much that we came back again before they closed to buy another scoop!

This local ice cream store is amazing. It has a small but good selection of flavours. I tried the slated honeycomb, lemon sorbet, biscoff cookie butter, Dutch chocolate and ended up with the salted honeycomb as my choice. Overall I recommend to try this cute and tasty ice cream store.

This spot had delicious ice cream and sorbet, a super clean and inviting space, and friendly staff. We were super pleased with the entire experience. Their patio is spacious and shaded with plenty of seating. Indoor seating was also spacious, clean, and well styled.

Me and my daughter are big fans – a visit here makes for a pefect mama and daughter treat! My toddler likes the chocolate with sprinkles or strawberry sorbet. She is also looking forward to trying the mango sorbet and the birthday cake. I enjoy the sorbets and am obsessed with the Salted Honey in a sugar cone! The vanilla is a great classic too! I am looking forward to picking up a pint of the Salted Honey in the near future. The steak sandwich with their flavored lemonade (rosemary or strawberry etc depending on the day) is so happy making! The staff and owners have all been welcoming and helpful! Glad for the addition of this sweet business!

The ice cream is good. Really good. The venue offers a variety of nice seating options, both indoors and outdoors. Staff is welcoming and friendly. It is a great place to gather and hang out with friends or family. It isn’t cheap ($5 for a single scoop and $10 for a Sunday – but it is really really good).
It’s easy to find on Broadway in Grand Marais. Parking is free on the street or in a near by lot.
It’s near the Worlds Best Donuts, so I encourage you to make a plan to grab a donut in the morning and a sundae in the evening. Enjoy.

We are regulars at the custard shop in town, but had to check out the creamery since the custard isn’t available this summer due to fire.
Very impressed with this shop! Clean, lots of seating, self serve water station… Super great staff, and ice cream and sorbet with rotating flavors! The passion fruit sorbet rocked my world! Real passion fruit seeds and great flavor – very happy to have the dairy free option! We will be making this a regular stop every summer, in addition to the custard
