I stopped at Super Subs yesterday thinking I was making a harmless, working class sandwich decision. Reader, I was wrong. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak. What I received was less “comfort food” and more “biological experiment.” Within hours, my stomach began issuing warnings like a faulty smoke detector too late and completely useless. What followed can only be described as exploding, pants destroying diarrhea. I did not make it back to my hotel. I did not make it to a bathroom. I did make a life decision to throw away my pants, underwear, and socks, thereby lightening my luggage but permanently darkening my memory.
Silver linings are important in times like this.
I won’t say definitively what caused it, but I will say I’ve eaten gas station sushi with fewer consequences. If you value your dignity, your intestines, or your clothing avoid the chicken cheesesteak. Also, emotional damage bonus point… no Cooper Sharp cheese!! If you’re going to betray my digestive system, at least do it with the correct cheese.

Pricey place, the steak and cheese was a bit fatty couldn’t eat unfortunately the taste was amazing but there were too many stringy fatty chewy pieces that my mind couldn’t get over the texture I felt like I was eating stringy bubble gum but everything else was good. Just really expensive and I don’t end up eating it
