Food was definitely delicious! The staff moves fast and was friendly too.

The jalapeño cornbread was my favorite. I paired it was the crawfish etouffee for a wonderful meal. I will say that the crawfish were a tad bit over cooked but the dish was well prepared overall.

We also had two starters: goudin balls which are similar to hush puppies but they have meat and other things inside (very good) and we also had cheese potato balls.

We had hush puppies as well and these had a small surprise of horn in them. Hubby ate the jambalaya and said it was super good.

We weren’t fans of the bread pudding. However we will be back as frequent visitors.

First time going here and took a bit to find it but if you’re looking to go here and haven’t been there yet. Its located in the corner underneath the Family Dollar.

Greeted by a hostess once inside and the dining area is laid out well. Bright and airy, staff friendly and helpful with your questions. Food was good and lots to choose from on their good size menu. They do have a Seniors Menu and a separate drinks menu. Immediately to your left inside the door’s is the Take-Out window.

Tried the Firecracker Wings which had good flavor. Their Gumbo was good and the hot sausage was good but was expecting more of a heat flavor in the sausage itself. Mac and Cheese was very good and the spicier version of the Cream Corn was very flavorful and would get it again. The Ribs were good even though they seemed to be smoked to long. Also order half a smoked chicken and it was good. Get to choose a couple sauces for your meal. For dessert, chose the Carrot Beignets.

There is so many choices on their menu that I can see myself going back to try new things.

Edit: 7/29/22 The service has changed. Now you just walk up to the window, place your order, and wait for it to be brought to your table. We were nervous because several tables had already ordered ahead of us and were waiting on their food. No matter, ours was out in 15 minutes or less. Still good quality and friendly service.

We live just a couple blocks away and decided to try Super Smokers on an early Friday evening. I had the crawfish ettoufe and my wife had the dirty fries. My ettoufe literally had enough crawfish that I had one or more in every bite. I only wish I had a little more rice with the dish. But thats just nit picking. My wife liked the dirty fries with Rotell cheese and pork. She added the KC sauce and it was very tasty. Finally, our waitress, Brittni was kind, professional and provided very prompt service. If there were stars given for the waitress I would give her 5!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s about time Affton got another restaurant. I ordered the Beef Brisket and a cup of Jambalaya. The brisket was tender and jambalaya was, spicy! I wanted the ribs, but they were all out at the time. Maybe next time.
If you happen to be in Affton, stop on, you just may like it.
Of course, this is just one mans opinion. You’ll be the best judge! Enjoy and please like if this review helps you.

We were visiting from out of town and wanted to try some local bbq and found super smokers on Google Maps. We ordered the BBQ Nachos and a 3 meat sampler…all the meats were done exceptionally well with good flavor. The nachos were among our favorite any place we have tried all over the country. Exceptional food and a must try when in St Louis.

Who hasn’t driven by and smelled the amazing aroma of smoking meat, and thought – it’s a bad idea to eat this? Well, minus your vegans and vegetarians. However, I do know a few that will admit to the smell being torturous.
The service here is really friendly, and a location that’s easy to get to. The portions are generous, and delicious. The Burnt Kevin is SO good! I think you could put burnt ends in a shoe and make it taste good. If you are hungry, or craving barbecue, you should stop on in!

Highly recommend giving this place a try! Our food was delicious and the service is SUPERB. Being from the area known as the “BBQ capital of Illinois” the ribs here put those to shame. So good I forgot a picture of them. Crawfish nachos for an appetizer we’re good enough to be a whole meal alone. The restaurant is very clean and inviting as well. The owner stopped to chat with his wife and quickly learned they are very down to earth people. We will definitely be back!

Wow! Our family knows and loves the StL bbq scene – and let me just say Super Smokers took the top seat with us over the weekend! The bacon jam burger is DELICIOUS! The smoked wings couldn’t be better, and we were over the moon for the jambalaya! Additionally the staff made it so EASY for my toddler to eat there – even making sure his mac and cheese had a chance to cool before serving it. (As a mom – that is a BIG deal!!!)

We will absolutely be back again and again.

Super Smokers BBQ & Cajun is opening its second location soon. My husband and I were fortunate enough to be at the soft opening tonight. Although they offer many of their BBQ favorites from the original restaurant, we had to check out the Cajun dishes. The boudin balls were moist on the inside and perfectly crispy but not burnt on the outside. And the remoulade for dipping was delicious. My entree was the chicken and hot link jambalaya. The smoked chicken had a great flavor, without the smoke overpowering the rest of the dish. The jambalaya was flavorful with a good spice level. It was served with a huge piece of jalepeno cornbread, which was tasty and moist–no butter needed. I also had the chance to try the hush puppies–a little greasy, but good flavor–and the dirty rice, which was delicious. And I ordered the creamed corn, a favorite from the OG Super Smokers.

My husband ordered the shrimp and sausage etouffee. He loved it! (And we heard it was very popular among the other guests.) I couldn’t believe how big the shrimp were. Yes, I know bigger shrimp exist, but you rarely see ones that size served in St. Louis. With everything we tried, we saw plenty on the menu we’ll have to go back to try.

I was also really impressed with the space. When you walk in, you can see through big windows into the kitchen, including the huge smoker where the magic happens. The seating area is open and modern, with exposed ductwork in the ceiling. A bar sits toward the back, with countertop seating. This will be a great place to meet friends to grab some delicious food. Can’t wait to come back!

Great tasting authentic Cajun in the middle of the country! Love the BBQ choices for those non Cajun eaters. The BBQ nachos are amazing! You will want to save room for dessert btw! Will be back again!
