first time eating at this place, super disappointed I was hoping it will be an experience of trying something new. I have been to many places like this and the food was awesome but this new place was very disappointing. The chicken was overcooked. The skin was burnt. the meat was dry. Only thing that was good was a black beans and white rice came out perfect soft and fluffy. the plantains was pretty good. The chicken was really dry. I have photos to prove it. I was very disappointed. Everything else was OK as far as the service and atmosphere.

The chicken I had was really good! You could taste the charcoal flavor, but it was not so much that it was overpowering. I liked the rice as well, it was great flavor. Fries were a smidge bit bland, desired more from those I will say. The Dark meat combo is a great value, along with their other offerings. The place itself seems well kept, outside of the occasional smoke that can come from the oven making the chicken. I would be open to going back and trying more of their offerings. I recommend this place.

They hooked us up with the serving size. The yucca was definitely not the best I’ve ever had (tough and dry), the chicken was solid (a little dry though), and the rice and beans were good (but that’s hard to mess up).
They’re a little stingy with the sauce sizes, but all together this was a filling and satisfying meal.

I’m not expecting a top tier customer service from a small business in the neighborhood, but no greeting, giving a wrong order (asked for a dark meat, gave a cold, old white meat), no Thank you, then when I came back to get the correct order she still did not greet, no apologies, just tossed the food on the countertop like I did something wrong… I honestly don’t think I would come back to this place. Sheerly because of poor customer service.

Im only giving 2 stars because the service was discriminatory. I waited for more chicken to get done. 3 people that came in after me that spoke Spanish were served 1st after the chicken was cooked. I was asked to wait. The guy in front of me, who spoke English and Spanish, told them I was there before him and he apologized to me for not knowing. Then the woman at the register asked if I was with the black woman behind me. Just because we were both black didn’t mean we were together. They need to improve their service no matter the race of the customer. I felt like the 3 guys who spoke Spanish were given better service.

The two women that work there are unprofessional and talkative to customers they are rude as hell to customers. I like the rico chicken, but the bad experiences that I had today with these two women that worked at this location made me not to eat at rico chicken again. The rico chicken company must fired theses two women who doesn’t care about customers foods. They made food messy for customers and they said they don’t care about it. They speak Spanish and they think customers can’t understand what they are saying.

Just spent over 60 bucks for delivery that shows online they offered. They took my money and tip and when I called about it they said no Habla Inglés. So they don’t speak English. I was hung up on three times. This is the worst!!! I normally go to the chicken Rico in Dundalk but wanted to try something new. I figured it was closer and the kids were starving. I regret trying them!! Now I have to fight to get the money back. No one speaks English at all… or at-least that’s what they said. I don’t recommend at all. Now me and my husband and children are starving and I have to go elsewhere and wait longer. In top of fighting for my money and tip for food We never received.

The lady at the register was very unpleasant. The first time I called to place and order, she hung up on me because she didn’t understand English.. so I went in the store to order and she and the other lady were laughing and speaking to eachother. On top of bad service the food was horrible.
