This is Sun valley’s hidden gem. First off they have the best Mexican food. Second their meat in the butcher section is some of the best looking meat I have even seen. Great for small produce. There cheese is amazing. This is my go-to when I can’t find specific things I need to make certain Mexican dishes. If you haven’t been there you need to go and try it out.

Wow, this place blew me away. I personally was not expecting it to be as great as it was. Bought 2 pounds of prepped chicken and a pound of the prepared ranchera steak. The selection of cheese and cream is so fresh and delicious. The produce was so good!! Definitely eating good tonight and coming back!

Cool little place has a ton of Mexican candy and there is meat that you can buy there, there’s also cheese and they also have a place where you can order food in there. And if you’re looking for one of those pots that makes a ton of tamales you can find that here as well. Edit* well I wish it wasn’t so but if you purchase here, please check that you’re being charged for the correct items and that the items have everything. The pot that I was so happy about getting for tamales was missing everything from the inside. Also I just paid $15 some odd dollars for two cans of condensed milk and two cans of evaporated milk. I bought a can and as you can see in the receipt they charge me for something else.. You can Google the product. It’s not even the same thing. When I mention the price she was perfectly fine with charging me more than $4 a can. I literally watched her change the prices on me as I was at the register.. shady if your not paying attention.

I love buying the meat there but sadly the cashiers are not friendly and they always close 10 to 15 minutes early. Today I was there thinking I would make it after work since it was 8:45 and the lady locked the door as she saw me walking towards the door with my kids and she just looked at us with a dirty look on her face and she kept mopping. I just needed to buy some meat for lunch tomorrow. If the workers need time to clean before closing it’s understandable just change your hours to closing time 8:45pm not 9pm…

Gave 3 stars would have given 5. But it seems that they are only stocking the mango beer cups. I asked about the spicy cups and the young lady working the register snapped on me because I’ve been asking about them the last 5 times I’ve been in. Other than that love this little store.

I ordered tamales and got home with not thinking anything was bad. I got home and there was mold on the tamales. I drove back and return them. The lady told me the are frozen and microwaved. Then the lady who was cooking the the food had an bad attitude to me.

Love the choices of carne here! There’s also a lot of typical produce within the store as well as plátanos! It’s great to get everything you need right in your own neighborhood. I also got myself a proper comal from here so my tortillas and salsa game is on point now I especially loved that they can cut up the carne for you too with no type of extra charge, perfect for when I made caldo de res! People are hella friendly and I love seeing locally owned Hispanic businesses. Come here to get everything you need for a carne asada! ☺️
