The “Super” Burrito isn’t so super anymore. When I first started buying burritos here, they had a well balanced burrito with a proportianate amount of Carne Asada, beans, rice and cheese. Now, you’re probably getting 2-3 oz of meat in the burrito. Really don’t appreciate any establishment cheapening products.

Excellent tasting food and courteous service. We drove in from LA and got there maybe 15 minutes before closing. We had a beef taco and fish taco with rice. Great salsa too.
The only other food around was McD and Subway. No thanks.
Bathrooms were very clean too.

We stopped here on our way down to Socal for a dinner to eat later. We picked up our togo at 5:30 pm and once ready to eat, we discovered that half our meal wasn’t there. We looked for a receipt in the bag and also missing. I ordered the mexican plate with a side of chips and quacomole, hubby ordered the meat burrito. The rice was crunchy and the chips were stale. No guacamole. Hubby had all meat burrito and missing was sour cream and cheese. Calling the manager first thing in the morning about this. Oh, they did give us a small bowl of lettuce, don’t know why… We even tipped them in their tip jar at the register while placing our order. *Update* I called this morning and spoke with the manager about what happened last night. She explained most of her staff called out sick and only 2 people were there to man the restaurant. She offered me a full refund or a meal. I took the meal option when we come back through Minden. Thank you Cecilia for doing the right thing.

Great Mexican Food! Great Customer service….there Breakfast chorizo burrito it’s the bomb. The Green Burrito is Money….I have been Loving there Chrisp Taco’s! The refried beans are like butter. Big helpings you’ll never go home hungry. The Hot sauce is spot-on. I go at least once a week! Nirvana! Still The Place for Home Made Mexican food! Red Chili Burrito is Fantastic!

Used to love their Super Burritos but things have changed. My last visit was a quick drive thru for a Super Burrito but I got pretty much a burrito filled with rice. Very disappointing. I’ll give them one more shot in the future but if it’s the same, probably won’t return.

Every time I come through Minden/Gardnerville, Super Burrito is my go-to food stop. I highly recommend the #12 with chicken. They do not skimp on the chicken and it’s always juicy and tender – chicken tacos. I also recommend the bean and cheese burrito, refried beans that taste like they’re made fresh, not from a can.
