Nice young people. But we waited 25 min for a to go box of mess. These are very little portions for two burgers and very minimal fries. My husband was so frustrated because of the price and how small they were that he thought they even made a mistake and gave us children’s portions. He went back in and they told him there was nothing that they could do and then that is what they ordered. He literally got 10 tater tots. No joke! Anyway, nice people but I won’t go back

Bacon cheeseburger with fries was an excellent lunch. All American taste without the massive grease drop. This little drive in is a taste of by gone american history at its best! Definitely recommend and will be eating here again. My son loved the food as well!!

Sunspot has been in Terrebonne forever–at least the 15 yrs I have lived in OR. Good breakfast place and only open 6 am-2PM. Food quality has been about the same but cooks and waitresses come and go. So quality of service and atmosphere changes for less than the best sometimes. Small seating capacity–about 20 seats total. Very reasonably priced.

Old school, country casual drive in. I had biscuits and gravy, it was very good.
Very busy place and with good reason.
The personal size pies are excellent, we took 2 home.

Because of the reviews, I thought this was going to be a really nice place to go, but we had THE WORST service ever. So we stop in for breakfast and we get our menus, we waited 30 minutes to get help, and at this point if we wanted any service what so ever we had to go up to the counter where all the waitresses were standing at the counter talking and ignoring customers outside in an almost empty restaurant inside. people who showed up 20-30 minutes afterwards were starting to get their food first. The food was over priced, cold and not very good anyway. Overall it took an hour just to get our food with no service whatsoever. Will not come back ever.

We live in Terrebonne, and used to come here for coffee and biscuits and gravy a lot. Then they stopped serving breakfast earlier, instead of until close at 2 pm. The older woman that’s usually at drive through is not friendly. Waitresses have always been great, though. We had many to go orders messed up or just plain bad, but have realized it’s not worth the effort to try to get it fixed, because they aren’t nice about complaints. Then they raised the prices, $9 for a BLT and 16 sad tater tots. They also started using a terrible sourdough, so it was falling apart and soggy, except for the crust, which was tough and hard to tear, causing my sandwich to end up in a messy pile. Maybe they got new management or owners? Either way, we will not be going there anymore. I’m guessing they manage to stay in business by having tourists stop in once on the way out of central Oregon, because I don’t think they will get any repeat business. Too bad, it used to be great.
Update- Both myself and my boyfriend have been in pretty bad stomach distress after eating our sandwiches. That was the only food that we both ate today, so I believe that is what caused it.

A fantastic little place to get a real hard ice cream milkshake, a real “flat top burger”, great fries. Super nice staff. Would’ve given all five stars but they close at 2:00.

Great food. But when it’s really busy and your mom is in a wheelchair it’s little more d difficult to get around and especially when you gatta sit at a picnic table. The waitress at sun spot made out visit as worth it as possible to the best of her ability. Soo yummy stop here for a great old fashion lunch

Went in this restaurant for the first time for a quick bite. We did get our food fast but the waitress forgot half of our food items. We had to get her attention multiple times to get what we ordered and she just seemed to be angry rather than wanting to help. She was very unattentive and just had an attitude with us. Would not recommend this place because of the unfriendly waitress.

Worst service

Used to come here as a decent bite to eat because it was convenient.

There is limited good selection
Bathrooms are hardly clean
Lighting is a hit or miss
Service is rude, unorganized and slow.

Their response is they’re doing the best they can. All the while mistreating customers and not keeping up the facilities.
Not to mention parking is iffy.
