Cheap delicious food! They had a great selection of items and everything I got was great! I got 2 orders of smoked ham, 2 orders of smoked turkey, 2 orders of macaroni, an order of collard greens, black eyed peas, and sweet potato casserole. Every item was hot, it only took 7 minutes to complete the order and it was just a little over $20! I gave a $10 tip and would say that it was still cheap. Friendly service and a clean restaurant. I have only been once, but it was an excellent experience.

I eat here weekly with friends and all of the food and service is always excellent. In many many visits I’ve never been disappointed. The desserts are also amazing, especially the pies and cobblers! Can’t go wrong.

Little overdue for a review haha. Started coming here maybe a month or so ago and we have become consistent regulars for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Nothing is ever wrong on our food whether we dine in or order Togo. Super sweet owners, and by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at and I’ve eaten at a LOT of restaurants and worked at many, as well. Literally everything we’ve had is delicious!! If y’all want awesome food and service, definitely give them a try.

The food was good. The price was right. The only place It was lacking for me was the service.
My wife and daughter ordered sweet tea, and after learning that they did not like it and asking for something different their request was denied.
The waitress was friendly to everyone she knew, at least that is how it seemed.
We patiently waited for the bill, but the waitress was too busy conversing to bring it. I finally went to the desk to pay. Usually if a restaurant wants you to pay at the desk they put it close to the door, so maybe I just figured wrong.
Good food, good price, friendly staff if they know you.

Great place for a great burger! I always get the daily special because it’s such a good deal. The burgers here are cooked to order and always seem to have really high quality ingredients. Sweet tea and fries are great too. Good place with a down home atmosphere. This is one of my new favorite restaurants.

Always good food. Everything I’ve tried. Good service. This place stays busy. I’ve eaten breakfast and lunch here multiple times and everything I’ve tried is really good. They usually have a good bar, and you can always order off the menu. They have daily specials too. Would recommend this place to anyone.

All of us at work order from them at least once a month. We all love it! Even ordered for the family for dinner and everyone was impressed with the cheeseburger too! Granted, it’s not the fanciest place and yes they have kids running around the kitchen, but what REAL family doesn’t? 😉 You won’t find a nicer family- oriented bunch of people who know how to cook it all great and at a very reasonable price! 🙂 Definitely worth checking out!

Awesome place! In 2012 we were at an anniversary in Trussville when we first got to try their wonderful BBQ. We’ve been loyal customers since. They were by Sanie Road at the time. I was so excited when they moved to a building by the old Dollar Family Butcher shop, just 3miles from where we live! And gotta mention they have great vegetables too. I love their black eyed peas.
