Hawaii With Toddlers
Great customer service! Joseph greeted us right away, and when my kids mentioned how excited they were for bacon, he brought some out before their food even arrived! Loved that everything came with fresh fruit, the dishes were beautiful, and my kids really enjoyed the kids meals. There are a few parking spots behind the building or street parking nearby, and we appreciated that they had a high chair available. Really enjoyed the Thai iced coffee. We will come back!

Pineapple themed place that uses local Dole pineapples! Perfect for tourists who want pretty Hawai’i food pics honestly didn’t know this place existed

Parking: limited parking in the back cause they share with the cat cafe. Otherwise, there’s parking in the neighboring areas or metered street parking

Food: BEAUTIFUL!!! The toppings aren’t just thrown on. They’ve clearly been carefully placed so your food is clearly cared for! I LOVE how each dish we ordered came with a serving of fruits or vegetable. I’ve worked at a diner before and for these same prices all you’d get is starch, egg and meat which i don’t feel is a very balanced meal. If im eating bacon I’d like to have fruit/vegetable to offset my guilt.

Price: standard breakfast prices especially in Waikiki. But idk I do feel like the side of fruit that comes with it is already a big plus. honestly would rather come here over liliha bakery cause you GET VEGETABLES AND FRUIT with your order.

Overall I’d come back! I hope they do well.

We ordered the poke dishes (croffle +poke and poke/eggs/fruit). We appreciate the smaller menu- makes it easier to pick! Food was delicious, very unique. Joseph was our server /the owner and he was so welcoming, attentive, and honest. We highly recommend this place for delicious food and down to earth vibes.

It was my first time dining at Sunshine & Pineapple. The restaurant was bright & welcoming. The service was friendly & efficient. There was parking in the back.
I enjoyed the refreshing pineapple coffee! We started with chips with pineapple salsa & toast with butter and pineapple jam, which I was hooked on.
I chose the Aloha #1, full of beautifully plated local ingredients. It was wonderful!
It was a great experience!

Lovely restaurant with delicious food and awesome owner! It’s right in front of a bus stop so if you take #2 or #13, you’ll be right at the door. The restaurant is super clean! I loved the pineapple and pork belly plate! The meat is tender and juicy, a great mix of savory and sweetness. The owner is so appreciative and down to earth! He took great care of his customers and that’s an understatement! Highly recommend a locally-owned restaurant for any visitors to try and support.

WOW! For a little ma and pa shop, this place will have you salivating just looking at the menu. My husband and I had the Aloha #1 and the Poke breakfast. The presentation, flavour, and kindness of our server made our experience the best it could’ve been! I wish we would’ve discovered this place sooner before our trip ended, we would’ve ate here everyday!

This little cafe/diner is super cute and hidden, easy to miss on the street driving by. We island hopped and found this breakfast-brunch place.
The pineapple fried rice is REALLY good, honestly I had to choose between nearly the entire menu to end up on a single dish to try.
Instead of chicken there is Portuguese sausage which was really good, and they give you a pineapple jam to spread on the sourdough which was amazing. The breakfast burrito was also very good as well. Pricing is very reasonable, and dish presentation is beautiful.
Highly recommend!!!
