Reviews
Menu aside, the service, hospitality and ambiance is extraordinary and worth every penny. The staff were all so kind and one can enjoy a 3 hour meal and even see the Epcot fireworks from the windows over dessert.
Dining at Monsieur Paul was nothing short of extraordinary—an evening that genuinely transported us back to Paris. From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless, and much of that was thanks to our incredible server, Alexis, who was engaging, attentive, and elevated the entire meal from great to unforgettable.
The pre-fixe menu is truly top tier—a true seven-course journey. It began with a buttery pastry puff, delicate sashimi, and a rich lobster bisque that immediately set the tone for the night.
For our appetizer, the escargot arrived unlike any preparation we’ve ever seen—unique, refined, and absolutely phenomenal.
The fish course followed with perfectly cooked scallops and snapper, each dish balanced and executed with precision.
The palate cleanser—a pear sorbet with pear brandy—was a surprising “wow” moment, bright and elegant.
Then came the filet mignon, and once again: perfection. Tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
From there, the warm goat cheese salad and a beautifully curated cheese plate kept the momentum going.
Dessert was a finale worthy of the journey: a classic apple tart and an indulgent chocolate sphere infused with hazelnut cognac.
Literally every single course was exceptional. Monsieur Paul delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had—elevated, authentic, and reminiscent of the finest meals in Paris.
Absolutely outstanding.
Yes the restaurant is expensive but they clearly show that up front on the Disney website as well as explaining the cancellation policy before you make the reservation. In our opinion the experience was well worth the price.
The servers are only given two possibly three tables per shift. This means you have their attention to the max. Our server, Cyril, explained every detail of the menus and the wine offerings and the caviar offerings. He explained every dish and every glass of wine that was set before us. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the majority of the tables have a view overlooking the world showcase area. It is a shame that they have to allow small children in, but, I do understand that it is Disney and that is a very difficult line to hold. I would suggest that they may be consider a walled off section for those who demand bringing their small child into that restaurant.
It would take pages for me to describe how incredible all of the food was. Let’s just say it was a terrific experience and I have a few pictures to show
The dishes are huge for fine dining. Our server, Florian, provided warm, knowledgeable, and friendly guidance throughout the meal. He was a delight!
We ate at Victoria & Albert’s, which was incredible, but honestly- this was just about as good (the escargot was every bit as good as anything we ate at V&A’s), and a third the price.
The ambiance is upscale without being stuffy. Watching the fireworks from our table was a treat.
We will definitely return!
From the first sip of spirits to the last bites of the core dishes, I kept finding myself pleasantly surprised by the showcase of culinary excellence. Perfectly cooked, wonderfully plated, and lightly seasoned. The flavor profiles and creative plating were innovative yet classic. Course after course with constant table touches, you are constantly catered to. How service should be. Not to mention I had the greatest seat in the house, overlooking France. I could see Mexico, across the water with a clear view for the fireworks. As far as ambiance goes, it was very tame and subtle. Something hard to come by inside a Disney theme park.
The escargot (pictured in a bowl with the green pureé), was my favorite dish hands down. Highly recommend. While it is around $200 a person, if you ever find yourself looking for elevated dining within Epcot, this is the place to go. Perfect for a celebration or splurgy date night.
From the moment we walked in. We were treated with such amazing service! Our server Pamela was absolutely wonderful! From beginning to end, she was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience, which was already over the top fantastic, even greater! Each course was supremely balanced and so delicious. It was beyond words.
My dad took my family 35 years ago the first time I was there. I was 13, and my sister was 10. we were able to take my son (13), and my daughter (10), such a wonderful thing to share the same experience with the next generation! Now to go back to work so we can come back to this restaurant again! Thank you to all who made it so special and memorable!
*Price point- cheaper than both the above options! Comes to $200 per person & they have a couple different options for wine pairings that weren’t super expensive. The wine list has many reasonable pours as well.
*The menu! It may not seem like as many courses as the others but trust mit is! They pace it out beautiful and it’s plenty of food!
*The service & skill. Each plate was prepared with a daft hand, the servers (most from France), provide authenticity & knowledge of French cuisine. Our server was wonderful.
Amuse bouche was a delicious tuna tartare (my favorite!) great bite to start the meal.First course we enjoyed the escargot & the lobster. The lobster salad with the passion fruit vinaigrette was excellent & a good portion of Fresh lobster. I wasn’t a fan of the mayonnaise type of carrot/pea veg with it but it didn’t ruin the dish. The escargot was different than traditional almost looking like a soup. However, this was excellent! We both weren’t expecting to enjoy it as much as we did. Next we had the sea bass in puff pastry monsieur Paul style & the scallops. We love scallops and they were cooked perfectly. The dish was colorful & presented nicely. The house speciality sea bass was everything you want it to be. Great presentation & perfectly cooked puff pastry. Sauce Choron great as well. Do not skip this dish! Lovely palate cleanser of sorbet and then the meat course. We opted for the lamb & filet. Both cooked perfectly & portions just right. I was preferential to the lamb my husband loved the filet. Both had robust sauces. Cheese plate my favorite course of the meal. Each cheese served the perfect temperature & had exceptional flavors. I loved the blue cheese, wrote it down, and purchased it from a store in Boston. The little jar they serve is a great touch also. For dessert I had the signature chocolate & my husband had the apple. Both of these were excellent. The chocolate was so rich & a fun presentation. No negative points for dessert we only wish we had more room. The cons about Monsieur Paul is that it’s located in the park so it is a little bit of a pain to get to. It also makes it difficult to bring leftovers home. They also only take reservations between 6-7pm. I understand this as it’s a 3 hour dining experience but it would be nice if there was some variety in timing so you can also squeeze in park time. All & all the beverages as well as the food were top tier and we would absolutely return. Exceeded expectations!
