Had a really good time on the deck with some friends. We were able to bring our fresh catch tuna from Jersey Coast Charters (another 5/5 company) 25 feet away and have a sushi boat made for us which was fantastic for a very affordable price I easily would have paid more for. Alan even brought out a separate dish for us of some tuna bites. They had live music and the drinks were good.

The bartender / sever was great he made a fantastic rum bucket . but the food wasn’t great . I use to to go this place years ago with my grandmother . Nothing is the same . Me and my boyfriend got the lobster rolls , shrimp tempura for an app , my daughter a burger she didn’t eat the burger she took one bite said it was burnt .

This is our 2nd visit, and the food was delicious! We made reservations for a Saturday night group of 5. The hostess explained that they were short staffed and adked us to be patient. We appreciated the heads up. We ordered the Rum Bucket, Calamari, California Roll, Kani salad, and Loaded Potato skins for appetizers. For dinner, we had the Lobster Roll, the Bronzino, the Margarita Shrimp, the Jersey Ciopino, and the Salmon. The food was fresh and delicious. There was a live band, so it was difficult to have a conversation while they were playing, but the music was good. Our waitress was new and friendly. Great experience.

This is the worst bar service I have ever experienced. They are nasty and do not pay any mind to patrons, takes about 30 minutes to get a drink. If you say excuse me, they put their hand up in your face! No bs!!!! Food is horrific, Seared tuna, pot stickers and dumplings, terrible. They served us a corona, best buy April of 2024. Then proceeded to tell us that was the bottled date! Seriously don’t go here. The water view is good but tent and tables are worn. Shocking how it is still open.

First time there this weekend . Our band played on the patio bar area. Great crowd, great staff, fun atmosphere. The burger was one of the best I have had in a while. Definitely a place to come back to and enjoy the seating outside.

The service was a little slow, but that was because the restaurant was also hosting two private parties at the same time we were dining, so it was understandable.
I loved the Marina view, and we were indeed treated to a fabulous sunset while there.
I got the broiled seafood combo, and I must say it was probably the best I’ve ever had due to an amazing array of herbs used in the butter sauce that added tremendous flavor, while not overpowering the delicious fresh seafood, itself!
The prices were reasonably midrange also.
I totally recommend Sunsets!

Came here yesterday with my partner. We’re visiting the Charleston/Mount Pleasant area, and wanted to eat on Shem Creek. Sunsets was a perfect choice for us! Food and drinks were delicious, but I just had to go out of my way to comment on the service.
Kaitlin, our server, was extremely helpful for us, as it was our first time dining here. She was welcoming and kind as soon as she greeted our table. She was very punctual and explained any and all questions we had about the menu. She was amazing, and we will be returning!!!

I’m shocked what I saw and tasted!
1.the leftover alcohol was spiller in the ocean.
2.the food took very long time to be made, even though it was not busy.
3. The lobster in the pasta was very small, and pasta was overcooked and it cost $36.
4. Pork loin came in too small pieces with some sauce that looked like soup, for 24$
5. Oysters didn’t taste right.
6. Tuna was overcooked.
7. Wine didn’t taste right.
8. Man’s bathroom was very unclean.
No more in this restaurant!

This place has potential. The waitress was sweet, apologized for how busy she was up front ( not her fault) clearly understaffed, as I think the manager may have even bussing tables and hostessing and not happy about it. Anyway, view was great, music not my cup of tea and too loud but the majority was enjoying so kudos! But then the obvious we came to eat and the food was terrible. It took forever, kitchen backed up ok fine, but it was cold, not seasoned at all, like literally not even salt and pepper. Ever try eating cold seafood that is not even flavored. . Not the waitresses fault probably not even the cooked fault as this place got good reviews ( that’s how we ended up there). But to pay 32 for 4 shrimp that are ice cold and hard chewy as rubber is pretty annoying. I’m not the one to complain or send food back who knows how it will come back to you right. I’ll just leave it here that if your gonna charge 20 dollars for apps and 30 something for entrees let them be flavorful and hot! I hope this place had a better Saturday night ( I say this because people around us were clear feeling the same).
