We had a wonderful experience! Our food was delicious! The chef was very accommodating and took a special request (though keep in mind this is out of the Norm, and we went for an early dinner when the crowd was minimal). The waitresses/bartenders were very polite and helpful. We sat outside by the bar and enjoyed the weather and watching the planes. We ordered the salmon tacos, muscles/clams appetizer, and a cheesesteak with fries. I would recommend all these dishes as they were fantastic!

There is a lot of variety on the menu, so there is something for everyone here. The homemade chips were delicious and the blackened cod tacos were great (the fish was cooked perfectly). The pub pretzel was very tasty as well. We also had pizza which was delicious. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly.

Casual place with a great outdoor area to watch the planes land and take off.
Service was a little slow but we were not in a big rush. However we did have to ask for things like silverware and plates.
Food was good, could have used more chicken on the sandwich. Chicken bacon ranch wrap was the better option.

Chicken came undercooked. I ordered the chicken and pesto panini and it was raw. Focaccia was burnt. It would’ve been great if it was cooked. They also took almost no accountability. I’m disappointed because the food was really good aside from that.

Went back 2x in a week recently. Lunch and a dinner. Food was good! Staff were awesome !! Shout out to Sophia, Jimmy, Julianna, and Brielle !! Was crowded, but they were able to seat us in a fairly reasonable time… Great outdoor seating in summer!! Band on Saturday nite and great outside bar also. On the Lincoln Park Airport property overlooking scenic hills and runway…Someday you can see ARMY helicopters there stopping in for lunch…

We decided to check out Sunset pubs “reopening“. They were closed for renovations, according to their social media. When we walked in, nothing was different it was dark and dismal. We were told to sit in the outside bar area. The bartender could not have been more rude and bothered. Only catering to those regular sitting at the bar. Ordered a glass of wine that had to be sent back. It was undrinkable. Almost like it had been in the bottle for the three months they were closed. The gentleman at the next table to us had to send back his beer because it was undrinkable. Bartender was dropping the F bomb every other sentence and doing shots behind the bar. The grounds were dirty outside was atrocious. But nothing had changed. It’s a shame because we love to stay local probably won’t go back to Sunset pub and Grill.

I am a fan of outdoor dining, and the scenic backdrop of planes taking off and landing added an extra touch of excitement. To start our meal, we got buffalo wings. The Parma pizza I had was great, complemented by the refreshing taste of Steer Wars, the beer on tap from Bolero Snort Brewery. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed her custom-built burger. The attentive staff and inviting ambiance made the experience even more enjoyable. This wasn’t my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last. Sunset Pub & Grill has earned its place as my go-to spot for a perfect blend of great food, a great view, and an impressive selection of beverages.
