CLOSED FOR THE WINTER – See you next season or contact us for your private event. Sunset on Rileys Point is a seasonal restaurant and year-round event space. Our waterfront location is tucked between Little Sturgeon and Rileys Bay just a few miles south of Sturgeon Bay in Door County, Wisconsin. We have a spectacular view of Little Sturgeon and out to Green Bay where we watch the sunset every night. There is a private lagoon, boat launch, and docks for our customers. We rent kayaks and paddle boards. Guests can enjoy their food and beverages in our bar, dining rooms or at one of our outdoor tables. We are committed to providing a fun and relaxed atmosphere focused on delivering delicious food and a terrific guest experience.

We had the deep fried perch last night. Fabulous! Linda, our server, was attentive and very friendly; I’ll ask to be in her section when we dine there next time. The fish was perfectly cooked, we chose fries for the side and they arrived hot and tasty. The fish fry includes a tasty coleslaw and (of course) rye bread. The outdoor seating have us a beautiful view of Little Sturgeon Bay and the sunset. The entire staff did a great job, despite the chronic staffing shortages all restaurants in Door County are experiencing. Highly recommended.

The views are undoubtedly spectacular. The fish fry was great, but pricey. The clam chowder was too ‘dilly’ for my taste. But Wow! was the service just horrendous, even off-putting. The waitress didn’t ask how the food was after delivery, didn’t offer water or ask if we needed a second drink. We had to have the unpleasant bartender find her in back to get the check. We asked if one of the TV could change to the golf tournament twice. Now idk if they didn’t have the channel, but the request was ignored without explanation. In a room adjacent to our seats in the bar, an elderly couple came to eat. An employee started to vacuum around them while they were eating! Lots of places with good food and great views in the area. Service makes all the difference.
