We absolutely loved our time here! We were looking for a bar to pass the time before we checked into our hotel and this place was highly rated so we decided to give it a go. The bartender was super kind & our drinks were superb! Next time we are in Kauai we will definitely be back 🙂 highly recommend!!

Wonderful drinks and a good hot dog with onions and mustard. Dylan was a very attentive bartender. I will be back. Seems like a good place for a family outing I will bring my nieces here who live on the island… please let people know that the end of Hanalei Plantation Road they need to learn how to park better at the Nourish Shack. I can’t get up the hill to come visit you guys when they block me.

Went on a Thursday night. Musicians were great, and the food is solid, though you gotta get there early if you don’t want to wait too long (or perhaps call ahead). Since everything is made fresh, to order, expect up to 20 mins wait for food. In the meantime, grab a drink (cocktails were quite strong for us) and hang out; lots of aunties, uncles, and older folks sharing community, dancing singing and enjoying each other’s company. It was a great way to spend our last night in Kauai.

Noel and Haley , our bartenders, were incredibly attentive and kind! The atmosphere and views are beautiful. We only came for drinks at happy hour (4:30-6) and the live music. Both were great! $5 draft beer . Will definitely be back

My wife and I love the Sunset Lanai. The staff is awesome, great music and community events. Ally’s Cocina and the Silver Cloud Eatery are great options for food. Full bar and Kaua’i Island Beer on tap! You can’t go wrong.
