We are regular patrons of Sunset Grill and have been so since they opened. Our “go to” is a hamburger and curly fries, and many times I finish it off with an ice cream. You get your food quick and the prices are very fair. A great place to grab some summer food!!!

Affordable and good quality food! Fast and friendly service. There is an option for indoor seating with generous seating options, outdoor seating picnic tables towards the back of the restaurant, and window ordering available. There is a section for condiments and they have over 100 flavors of Ice cream. They have a bathroom inside, hot dogs, fries, other American food options and even a smaller Mexican food menu.

We decided to go for a Sunday drive from Buffalo and ended up at Sunset Grill. We had a sausage and peppers, grilled chicken sandwich and shared curly fries. The food was just ok, could have used some seasoning for sure. The real story is the ice cream. 101 flavors of soft serve. I had chocolate coconut, which was delicious and my husband had blackberry custard, he said it was very good. Prices were fair, cash is best as they charge a 3% card fee. We will be back for the ice cream, but will probably skip the food.

Stopped here on a road trip down route 90. Close to the freeway and way better than McDonalds. Do yourself the favor and spend the extra $$. Charbroiled burgers and one million flavors of soft serve. Plenty of Covid-friendly outdoor seating and really nice people at the counter.

Please Stop, sell this place to someone that cares the smallest bit… If you’re going to do something do it right….. pathetic, undercooked, no love, no caring….. Even the one employee told me that the owner’s hate working here….Quit, turn it over to somebody else that cares…..rip off…….The Kitchen is filthy, lazy not caring employees and owners…real simple , toast the roll, cook the food all the way!! Clean the caked on grease in the kitchen! Filthy Bathrooms!! I could have microwaved a meal and it would have been better than this place.What a joke. You should be embarrassed if you work here.Or own this place.

Definitely your typical hot dog- hamburger joint but they offer a large dining area that was clean to sit down inside. They were nice enough to give the kids ages 3 and 5 smaller versions of their one size only soft serve ice creams. However They over charge on fountain sodas and each cost $2.80 for basically ice filled to the top and they don’t offer refills so it was $5.60 to get ONE drink out of two cups filled with more ice than soda. Could of bought 3 -2L if we wanted at that point. Other than that they should clean their bathrooms a little better.

Good food and service, reasonable prices, one sizr soft serve, a available in 101 different flavors, and a large selection of American standards, food wise. Close to Sunset Bay, with a good selection of condiments, and a relaxed atmosphere.
They do not take credit or debit, cash only, but well worth stopping by. Also have an open air, and indoor dining area, with a walk up window.
Entrance is handicapped accessible, but it does have a steep ramp, and the restroom is accessible by wheelchair, but it is tight quarters.
Not somewhere we’d go every week, but it is a once or twice a summer stop for us. Well worth checking out.

Went to dinner with my dad and 2 sons we ordered food, which was 2 tiny, sloppy frozen patty burgers, a burned hot dog and half cooked tiny chicken fingers. Total was 54.95. The girl ringing us out was snotty and cocky. The food was less than fast food quality, tables were dirty. We could of gone to a nice dinner. On the way out this girl in a sloppy shirt that works there opens the door and waved at us cocky as possible saying have a good night! Never in my LIFE WILL ANYONE I KNOW SUPPORT THIS DUMP.

I’ve gone past this place so many times and finally decided to stop, and was I impressed! In the class oh hot dog and ice cream places Sunset Grill ranks up there at the top. From my experience you don’t just pay for quality but you also get the quanity. Their attention to keeping things clean and sanitary during the Covid-19 speaks volumes as to the ownership/management care for their staff and employees. The only thing lacking was the food was a tad slow coming out but was worth the wait. I will stop in again for sure!
