Rainy day in SD, this spot is perfect for a bowl of chicken tortilla soup! I was taken aback at how delicious this meal was. The staff was so friendly and the inside is so cute, I absolutely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a good lunch spot. I got the medium and it was a great price and huge serving! The young cashier is very attentive and greeting! Brought my family to eat for breakfast and definitely will be a spot to come when in San Diego! This place has option of inside or out seating making it enjoyable and comfortable to eat! The portions are very pleasing and filling! And definitely worth the pay! This cute little place has a wide variety of American/Mexican food with delicious options of beverages. In addition to the yummy food and generous portion size with great prices, the hospitality is warm and welcoming. The times I have visited I was met with smiles and accommodations. This hidden gem is a must-try for breakfast! It’s a family-run restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The daughter takes your order with a smile and the dad works his magic in the kitchen. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. I recommend their Chilaquiles de Casa or Chilaquiles de Popeye enough – both were delicious! Plenty of parking on a Sunday after church.

My second time here, it’s a drive from where I stay but since I was in the area for my fiancé’s appointment, I’ve been wanting to take him here and he enjoyed it. He just wishes that their breakfast bacon & eggs Burrito had more bacon in it. Their new ChocoBana was very delicious. The shake itself was not tooo much on the sweet side because the banana blends in real good. My Country Fried Steak was very delicious as always.
