Love this hole in the wall diner, booths and everything. Everything was cooked perfectly, the portions were generous, and the staff friendly.

This was by far the best Breakfast place near our hotel in Aptos. Their tofu scramble was very flavorful and they didn’t skip on the veggies. This place is just what we were looking for! Thank you for the great service!

Delightful, homey cafe. Service was friendly. Food was good. Atmosphere comfortable. Prices reasonable. We went there for breakfast and had a tasty, filling, cafe breakfast.

Another one of my mainstays- hot food, good prompt and considerate service. Fair pricing, good portion size and great tasting salsa. I’ve been coming here for almost 2 decades and the taste and quality has not changed, regardless of the cook and servers.

New owners, same menu with delicious fresh ingredients. House made salsa and hollandaise was delicious. I went with my normal polenta spinach eggs which was even better than usual. My husband got the chorizo omelette – they have a new chorizo that is absolutely delicious. My son had the mickey pancakes and loved the chocolate chip eyes .

This old-fashioned diner delivers good food, friendly service, and endless coffee. They have cozy seating, and even a counter with stools. Nothing fancy, but good food, great prices, and no-nonsense prices. The jam is lumpy with chunks of fruit, which you will love! They have had apricot and strawberry every time we’ve been in. I always order the Greek omelet, but everything looks good. Get there early or expect a wait. Y.U.M.

Good coffee, incredible service! The Sunny Scramble was delicious, their homemade Spanish hot sauce was next level. My roommate loved the waffles! Last minute decision to dine here that I’d be happy to make again!

If I could give zero stars I would. I got an order for pick up for veggie burger and eggs Benedict. Both meals were not edible ,the veggie burger smell like gasoline and the eggs Benedict had sunny side up eggs with some watery substance. We called the restaurant to ask for a refund and they said we had to return the food and come back and we would receive a full refund, which we did. We drove all the way back there with the food, the manager came out and was extremely rude. He told us that he would only give us half a refund because we were “late picking up the food”. They had told us 20 minutes and we arrive 20 minute after the order.

Use to be really excited about coming here. For 10 years, portions were great, Lynn was so personable, and food tasted yummy. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. You have to ask for every little thing and they forget to add certain exchanges to your food. And to my knowledge, exchanging meat out of food for a vegetable doesn’t mean that you’re getting a deal? Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t meat still more expensive everyone? I literally only took a few bites after they took the food that I had , said they’d make it right, and rather than remaking it (which I told them to please not just take my food back and melt cheese on it) that’s exactly what they did anyway. They brought out my already served food with cheese just sauteed in. Sheesh, sadly, $22 for a small coffee and an incorrect, small, tasteless order, I won’t be returning. Save your money. There are better breakfast places in Santa Cruz. Try Linda’s Seabreeze and Zachary’s. You can thank me later.
