Man the food is great and the service is too! I’m a big breakfast person and the food is very good. I want to try everything on the menu at some point, it’s just far from where I live. But if you like breakfast food you should be happy going there.

Really enjoyed our experience. Myself and my fiance went and had great service. Great food. Bc of the price I would recommend mimosa bottle over single glasses. And who I can only assume was the manager or cook or both came and gave us a little history of the business and how a lot of the door is locally sourced. I actually appreciate that. Speaks to the quality of Oklahoma resources. Chicken friend steak was Top Tier. Would def go back. Coffee was piping hot. Would love to buy a mug, they were nice!

My wife, daughter and I ate at Sunnyside last week and absolutely loved the food and service. We never had to wait or ask for a refill or service. The pancakes were the biggest I have ever had and the rest of the food was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an amazing breakfast with fantastic service.

When I first moved to Oklahoma, I was desperately in search of a great diner. I absolutely love breakfast food, and my first apartment was about four minutes from this place. I loved Sunnyside, but I explored all the other breakfast/brunch places that were supposedly “better” since I’ve been here.

Incredibly, this is the best breakfast in the city, hands down. I go to Sunnyside nearly every single weekend (and I’d go more often if I could), and I am consistently met with fantastic service, generous portions, and the best chicken fried chicken I’ve ever had.

They maintain a great staff, and depending on the day, I know nearly every servers name. Sunnyside feels to me like a second home, where you know the people serving you and you never have to doubt that anything on that menu won’t be delicious (though, I am a creature of habit and my order is fairly consistent).

Though this may be less important to some, another contributing factor for why this particular Sunnyside restaurant exceeds their other locations is that fact that they are a Coke restaurant whereas all others are Pepsi. That, and as I mentioned before, their kitchen staff at this location is unmatched.

A few years ago this location sustained a little fire and smoke damage from an outside patio heater, and was closed for a few months. It was painfully clear that the other Sunnyside locations did not match this one. Even after moving within minutes of Sunnyside’s Edmond location, we still find the trek downtown worthwhile.

While I have been here countless times, and have been singing its praises to anyone who has ever asked me where to get breakfast in OKC, I thought it deserved an honest, public review.

I sincerely appreciate the hard work this restaurant does in creating its atmosphere of excellence and accessibility, and I can’t wait to see their excellent staff next weekend!

Went on a Saturday morning recently after seeing reviews. I always have enjoyed Saturday breakfast at a diner (especially coming from NJ – Diner land). It was extremely busy which is an excellent indicator of a good place. Outside is a patio reminiscent of outdoor seating at the shore communities in NJ. I sat at the counter to allow parties of a few people to have seating. An older gentleman sat next to me and it became obvious he was a regular. We chatted about the diner. The staff and manager knew him well. The coffee kept coming and the burrito breakfast I ordered was superb. I look forward to more breakfasts and the company of the kind gentleman and the staff of the diner.

What a great little gem! The breakfast was wonderful! I had the Farmers Market Omelet but in a “power-bowl” presentation. The flavor was outstanding! Husband had pancakes and biscuits and gravy. The Biscuit was fresh and moist. Great flavor for both the pancakes and gravy. Casual atmosphere and great service!

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food is absolutely phenomenal—hands down one of the best breakfast/brunch spots I’ve ever visited. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. This is the kind of place that reminds you why breakfast is the best meal of the day.

What truly sets this diner apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and taken care of. Their warmth and hospitality elevate the entire experience.

While the atmosphere may not be flashy or trendy, it doesn’t need to be. What it may lack in eye-catching decor, it more than makes up for with outstanding service and unforgettable food. If you’re looking for a delicious, satisfying breakfast served by people who truly care, this is the spot. I’ll absolutely be back!

Adorable little diner, great food and service. Prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. We couldn’t finish all of it. The fat Elvis pancakes are a winner for sure.
