Best schizuan place in Denver! I have been coming here many times for 3 years now. Never disappoints! Hint: for more authentic flavors, ask for the chinese menu, along with their regular menu

Sunflowers Asian Cafe has an amazing menu with both American-Chinese favorites and authentic Chinese dishes. Our top picks are the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, wonton soup, and many more!
But the real standout is the Dong Po Pork Hock(a slow stewed pork knuckle) that’s absolutely out of this world. It’s rich, tender, and perfect with steamed rice. A must try dish!
The atmosphere is casual and friendly, and don’t forget to crack open your fortune cookie at the end of the meal, it’s part of the charm.
We love it so much, we’ve even ordered takeaway from here for our Christmas dinner. Highly recommended for comfort food lovers and Chinese cuisine fans alike!

Definitely some of the best value in tasty Chinese food. The portions are enormous and the prices some of the most reasonable around. A lot of authentic dishes with nice flavors. And, it’s family run which is always nice.

The food was delicious and I’m a bit of a Chinese food snob having grown up in Taiwan. I had the shrimp with snow peas. The vegetables were very fresh and the shrimps were big and tasty.

Absolutely not. Their crab wontons were chewy and bready. Their beef king pow is really barely seasoned watered-down beef and mixed vegetables. It was a waste of $70 with an hour wait for delivery.

Solid chinese restaurant. Got the dinner for 2, which is a monstrous amount of food. We were shocked how much appetizers it came with. Absolutely loved the Seasame chicken and the chicken and broccoli. The fried chicken and ribs for appetizers were okay, nothing to write home about. Wonton soup, to my delight had little bits of pork as well as plenty of wontons.wonton.
Definitely going to come back, just might not get so much food next time.

Found this place randomly, and glad we did. Their selection of Chinese cuisine is truly impressive, especially since the more traditional dishes taste very authentic. The food is seasoned very well, and not overly salted like most places. We will definitely be adding this to our list of favorite Chinese restaurants in the Denver metro area.

Very authentic and large portion Yangzhou food. They are extra busy on Christmas Eve so it took a bit longer, but the food was so worth it!

Fantastic Chinese restaurant with western and traditional fare that’s worth the one hour drive for us to eat there. Sunflower has been a mainstay for the family for years. The place offers a menu of American and Traditional dishes as well as daily specials depending on what the chef finds in the market.
Nearly everything I’ve had there has been terrific and wouldn’t feel out of place in a restaurant in Asia. Try the Wen Shi Tofu Soup – not only is it deceivingly delicious, the knife skills needed to dice tofu that thinly hints at the chef’s talents.
Service is good, though they can get crowded at times. Prices are more than reasonable.

The staff are so helpful and nice! I am blind and everyone here is friendly and warm. The food is fantastic! Love the lo mein lunch special; that is the best egg drop soup I’ve had in years!
