Mama Vera’s burritos are the real deal! Your barbacoa is excellent! It tastes authentic and slow-cooked, not processed or over-seasoned, and I definitely can tell that it’s made with love. The homemade salsa is fresh, balanced, and full of flavor without overpowering the burrito. I loved the red as it had a bit more kick than the green. Add in the beans rice and the crisp, fresh onions and cilantro and everything comes together perfectly—simple, honest ingredients perfectly proportioned and done right. This is definitely the kind of burrito that you come back for!

Staff and owner are awesome! Very welcoming and answer any questions you have on the menu. We tried it for the first time on 12/13 and now I’m back on 12/13. I had their carne asada burrito the first time and now trying their bacon breakfast burrito. This place is amazing! Finally found a great Mexican food spot. I’ll be coming back every chance I get.

Tried the breakfast taco, I’m not sure there was any egg in it, but overall, it was not good. I am still tasting it hours later. The chili de arbol and avocado salsas were good, that’s what got the 2nd star. I also find it hard to pay $12 for a breakfast burrito. I thought $10 for a breakfast burrito at Dayne’s BBQ was high but at least that is a dang good one.

Saw the ratings on Google and had to give it a try. Ordered a couple of burritos, tacos, and the loaded tots. They had sold out of pastor so did asada and chicken and they were great! Placed the order online and it was ready pretty quick. We loved it and so did our kids. Definitely worth the 5 stars and giving this place a try.

Fantastic breakfast tacos, the best we’ve had in Weatherford! The tortillas taste homemade and they have a variety of salsas which were all excellent. They were super friendly and we would absolutely go back!

Found on google and it did not disappoint! Best authentic tacos and totchos! We tried the shrimp diablo, barbacoa, and el pastor tacos along with the loaded totchos and they were phenomenal!

My FAVORITE food spot in town…AUTHENTIC Mexican food truck with a creative twist! They have it all – burritos, tacos, even gluten free and grain-free options like the Mama Veras tots and breakfast tots. The meat is perfectly tender, juicy, and expertly seasoned, choice of asada, barbacoa, carnitas, pastor, chicken tinga and even shrimp on Fridays for you Catholic folk! Current meat favorites are the chicken tinga, bacon con chile and al pastor I get bacon breakfast tots for my toddlers and they LOVE it. The sauce, oh sauce, how I love thee, let me count the ways…and the portions are GENEROUS. Great service, great people who truly know what they’re doing. It’s also FAMILY FRIENDLY: they’ve got picnic tables and even a kiddy playground…seriously. Awesome location next to Major Perk’s coffee shop, I always make sure to pick up a coffee to show support for them too. You DON’T want to miss this place, it’s becoming a local treasure! ❤️❤️❤️
