I had the lobster salad while my friend had the lobster roll. Hers was a little bland while mine was quite tasty with the mangoes and cashews on it. It was a little chilly with the wind outside but a beautiful day to get some fresh air. The view of the docks as well as the fishing boats coming in was amazing. I saw a huge baked stuffed lobster go by me that also looked amazing. It was more expensive than I’m used to.

This was our second time coming here, and it was even better than the last time. The appetizers were AMAZING! We ordered their crab dip, steak bites and mussels in white wine sauce – everything was spectacular. The white wine sauce was delicious and we ordered extra bread to just dip it in and also use it for our lobster later on.

At around $50/head+ for two courses and drinks this is a pricey eat but mostly hits the target. You basically have only two choices if you want to eat in comfort around Ponquogue dunes: this place and the neighboring hotel. Both are very busy so call ahead for everything from reservations to parking. The food is fresh, cooked well, and served with courtesy and timeliness. The lobster roll had way too much mayo. Their baked clams are a hit in reviews and do have an attractive smoky quality. The fish tacos need more fish but were packed with tasty fresh trimmings. The restaurant is very clean; bathrooms can get busy. The Bar selection is complete.

Great view, very competent waitress (Abbey) and staff. My husband’s dinner, the halibut special, was outstanding. The calamari was hot and crispy. The lobster special was good, but please drain the lobsters because my plate was full of water, kind of gross. Fries and cole slaw were good. I’d go back.

My favorite lobster roll and the best clam chowder. It’s worth driving in from the city and has a spectacular view. They work hard to make you feel welcome and staff treat kids very well here. I can’t recommend it enough; portion sizes vary, so it’s best to get a few things to share.

-Once again we drove the 40 minutes to have Amazing Sunday’s Burger!!! Yes, they have amazing seafood with amazing presentations. A beautiful day, we started on the deck. When I was cold they changed our seating by their fireplace, without hesitation and always smiling. They are located on the Shinnecock Bay with the Ocean across the street, definitely amazing seafood here too!!! Adding more photos from our visit today.

Tasty cocktails, appetizers, entrees and dessert! There was also some live music! We had a great table overlooking the dock which allowed us a great view of the sunset. Definitely a casual vibe, and good for kids too.
