Got a stone bugolgi bowl, seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and a bugolgi kimbap. Everything was great. They even came with some banchan, miso soup, and barley tea!
Bugolgi was what I expected, and exactly what I wanted. If I were on the go, I’d probably be happy with the bugolgi kimbap. The pancake and tteokbokki were much larger than I anticipated. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever had such large rice cake for tteokbokki before. It came with some fish cake and even a hardboiled egg!
Food was nice, felt lighter and less greasy than other restaurants. I’m not sure if that would appeal to most American taste buds with highly salted or highly buttered foods. The place feels more home cooked, something you could probably eat really often without feeling unhealthy.
Place is run by an older korean man and woman, but there wasn’t any language barrier. They were both very nice and friendly.
Looks like there’s a single room bathroom in the back, but I didn’t go in to check it out.
There are window decals with some desserts and bubble tea depicted, but I didn’t see them on the menu. That said, I think I saw a variety of powders flavors behind the counter that might’ve been for bubble tea.
There’s decent seating inside, maybe 10 or so tables seating 4 each or so.
Left stuffed, there was actually a lot more food than I was expecting. I think it’s a good deal.

Updates:
Menu seems to be ever changing as they refine their business. It seems they’ll soon be offering some bean shaved ice dessert and ice cream. Also it looks like fried chicken is now on the menu!
They’ve hired a front hand to take orders and serve, so it seems to be fully sit down now.
I ordered the tteokbokki and the Taro bubble tea. I was so pleasantly surprised when it came like a slushie I personally liked it, and considering it was over 90F outside, it hit the spot. The tapioca balls were just the right amount of sweetness and the texture was great.
The tteokbokki was delicious! It had that perfect blend of spicy, sweet, and savory, it was exactly what I needed. Not to mention the rice cakes were HUGE I overestimated my stomach’s ability to devour everything, so I brought the rest back with me to enjoy later. They brought out a small bowl of soup and some sides (and even a small bottle of water!) which really completed the dish for me. Overall I would definitely come back!
