I haven’t been here in years. I went when they first open up and always passed it but never went in . Why ? I don’t know . I should have . But no more.
Do not search if you want a classic cold cut Banh mi. It is huge here with tons of meat. You will that that no where. Definitely come here.
I’m always about quality and here going on to eat with this kind of quality and prices you cannot ask for a better place. Trust me!
Their Banh mi was delicious. I would have liked it warmed in the toaster oven a bit more but listen I’ll take it as is.
My won ton soup had tons of fresh veggies and soup was flavorful. All for $10 a bowl. Not bad at all . The won tons had chestnut in them and for those who like the chestnut crunch you are all set here , my guys and gals.
The hubby got a bowl
Oh beef pho and I had to taste the broth. Full flavored and delicious.
I will see you again very soon . I will not pass you by no more 🙂
You should give them a try

Loved Sun for a long time, has the best pho around. Decided to try their pad thai after seeing people rave about it (we usually go to Veranda), but it’s very disappointing. The flavor is lacking and the chicken is gamey. It’s very strange, and I’m not sure how to really describe it other than… Gross and oily. My partner is equally grossed out and neither of us are finishing it. It may just be a fluke, but I probably won’t be going again. I also got their brown sugar boba, and while the tea is amazing, the boba itself is really squishy.

Decent, clean restaurant. Pho was good, recommended. Rice place was ok. The rice was kind of dry, hard. The beef was decent.

Just ordered some apps and experience sadly wasn’t great. Crab Rangoons were almost completely empty inside. No filling. I ordered chicken spring rolls (the little fried kind) and I got 2 big regular spring rolls instead. Steamed dumplings were okay but again hardly any meat inside.

The place outside looks slightly abandoned but do not let that deter you from trying the food here!! I came here for the first time the other day because my friends had recommended it to me. I was not disappointed!! It’s been hard trying to find a good bowl of pho in maine but I am so happy that I decided to give this place a chance. I got the beef pho, fresh spring rolls, and a iced thai tea. The only part I wasn’t a fan of were the fresh spring rolls. They weren’t bad but I’m just not used to the extra ingredients in their recipe (which is not their fault). The beef pho broth was so flavorful, I didn’t need to use the hoisin sauce. My only request would be a bigger portion size because of how good it was haha!! The man at the register was welcoming and attentive. My food was brought to me on a tray and the waiter was friendly. I would definitely come here again! 🙂

Interesting mix of restaurant ideas in one package.

Mainly, this location serves Vietnamese fare – such as pho – but in an added twist, they also serve pastries, coffee, and breakfast foods like scrambled eggs and sausage.

The prices seem to be pretty decent. For my eggs and sausage with toast, I think I paid around $5. The food was decent and it didn’t take too long to prepare. The staff was really friendly, too – and the restaurant was clean.

The only downside was that since the restaurant is new, it seems they haven’t found their “flow” yet. I feel like it wasn’t clear whether or not they had table service, and the employees were still learning the menu.

Still, this seems like a good alternative to mix up your breakfast routine. Will most likely check it out a few more times. So far, so good.

9/30/23 – My stomach wasn’t feeling great with anxiety travel so was happy to find a place with soup. The gentleman who took our order was super nice. The pho was super delicious. I would love to come back and eat here again if we visit this area again.

The meatball pho is delicious. The broth is super clean and incredibly flavorful. The steamed dumplings are perfect little pillows. You should definitely order these. This is my favorite pho spot as of now in Portland.

Their food is affordable, delicious, and great quality. They gave me so much fresh basil with my dish and plenty of noodles for multiple servings. I often feel like I’m getting the least amount of food and effort when I order out and it’s the opposite case here. Highly recommended!
