I am not writing this review to tell you what to do with your hard-earned money. I am going to share my thoughts and you make your own decision if you would like to try this place or not. I been going to this restaurant since I was a kid in the 90’s. I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always fresh and flavorful. For a restaurant in the hart of Chinatown this restaurant prices are a bargain. Free tea is included with your food.

This is the only food I’ve had here, and they’re okay BUT they have AMAZING duck! Definitely a must try! Best duck I’ve ever had! Most of their customers are regulars who had been going here for years, they’re also very kind people. Usually very busy during lunch time so if you wanna check this place out go a bit earlier or later so that you’ll have a table to yourself and not shared with strangers(unless you would love that experience too)

Tea is served right away when you’re given your seat. Good food, reasonable price. Service is fast and staff are friendly.

Love this place. The real deal Cantonese lunch. Delicious & honest prices. Not sure where to go for lunch in Chinatown? Try them. Come here for the food not the atmosphere.

amazing spot! i was given a hot tea the moment i sat down, and they kept refilling it — perfect for this snowy day. I got the sesame chicken ($16) and rice ($2), very good.

Um lo mein was literally instant noodles and they said it was “hong Kong” lo mein. But the food was not good only like two dish was worth finishing out of the 5 big dishes we got. The water was dirty for one of my friend and it was white stuff in the surface. We didn’t make a big deal and just paid and left. Price was not satisfying for the food and top of charging tip already, the lady looked like she wanted more tip. I just don’t think it’s worth the price for the food. Something that you can make for $5 they charge about 15+. Never again making this mistake. Never make fat choices make smart ones.

(Edit) Pro Tips: 1. This is primarily a Cantonese Style BBQ quick meal place. ie: cuts of bbq/ roast meat over rice makes a fast lunch!,…styles/fillings for wonton, rice rolls/noodles, buns etc may be different than where you’re accustomed to. 2. The Roast/BBQ meats (made in main kitchen) with rice/noodles/soup is Not gonna be reheated (soggy) Hot~ but cut from what you see up front, and plopped over steamed rice/soup/etc. … Canto-style fast food ;] ~ Imagine a construction site, 50+ people have 30 mins to order/pickup/eat Fresh Food! Yah, like that.. in Chinatown

I was a little skeptical at first. We were welcomed in and received hot tea when we sat down. Good❤️ We had duck and cabbage!! Yes!!!!!!! The service was great. A must try if you’re in the New York Area! The ribs were a lil tough but the flavor was still good!

Great experience. I always come for their lobster special. It is super fresh, affordable, and the service is great. You also get to have hot tea with your meal. I come here all the time and haven’t had a bad experience.
