I had the #5 lunch special, “for here.” It’s really a takeout place, but my food was served to my table (booth). Given the reviews, I had low expectations. They were met. Pork did have flavor. Egg Roll was pretty good and had a shrimp inside. Chicken Fingers were decent, not soggy and not overcooked. Yes, they were expectedly oily. I chose the Lo Mein over the Fried Rice. It was fine, but nothing memorable.
Honestly this does not deserve a 4 rating. It irks me that “local guides” are allowed to gives 5’s when clearly they are unjustified. I don’t trust their reviews. Although some of the 3’s were local guides, so that tells you all you need to know. I reserve 5’s for the best.
Let’s face it, there is no great Chinese food on Cape Cod. One trip to Quincy will teach you that. I can’t say that I can recommend this place, but I would consider eating their food again. Lastly I say that I believe many people have lost a degree of smell and taste due to you know what.

First time trying their food, and I liked it. I got a take-out of special fried rice, beef teriyaki & crab Rangoon.
Everything was very good, I just found the crab Rangoon to be saltier than anywhere else I’ve ever tried. Overall it was good and fair price. I’ll definitely will be back again

Always good and reliable. Fast service and food is always tasty. Can’t beat the General Chicken and Crab Rangoon. For the people leaving bad reviews because their orders are wrong. I learned many years ago not to get any takeout without checking the order before leaving the establishment.

Boneless Spare ribs are hit or miss. Most of the time there is to much fat, and half the container gets thrown out. Today the chicken fingers tasted awful, didn’t taste or smell like chicken. Off putting. I spent over $40. I through away almost all of my void except the spring rolls which were OK. I asked for a ton of soy sauce and got two packets. I’ve been going there since the 90s when it was by patriot square. What was once my favorite on cape, is now horrible.

Good customer service, good food , good price. Usually, I order early instead of later in the day, and it is delicious. It’s a shame that citty people, or city people, come down and want everything like in the city . Racing to the next light in a 100,000.00 suv one minute , complaining about everything else the next minute. It’s unfortunate that locals can not afford to drive up to Boston and get some real Chinese like all the citty people, huh ? Let me guess you must have a cape and island license plate . Best Chinese on Cape !

The food here is always outstanding! We order a few times a month from Sun On. The prices are very reasonable (we normally spend less than $30 per order) and the service staff are extremely efficient and pleasant. The only con to Sun On is that their dining room could use a little updating – it is a bit dated. However, take into account that this establishment is 99% take-out orders, so the dining room plays a very small role.
