This place was okay! The food was nothing to write home about. Friendly service and cute spot. We had the crudo with sweet passion fruit purée — I didn’t really enjoy it. The agua chile was red and not very flavorful, and the cochinita was just okay, with a pretty small portion for the price. Tuna tostada is what saved the night! We sat outside because it was a beautiful night, and a flight of mezcal definitely made everything better 🙂

I came here with a group of 6 for brunch and we had a great time. We made reservations ahead of time and got to sit outside. The outdoor seating had a mix of shaded and unshaded tables and we were able to get a shaded table during the summer.
We were pleasantly surprised because of the big portions and how yummy the food was. Service was also great. Parking can be found in a nearby garage or parking lot. I can’t wait to come back for dinner!

The drinks are good here. I liked the guac, well who can go wrong with that anyway? I am an Indian vegetarian and the food was ok.

Great place for an intimate date with great food, drinks and service. Our server was very friendly and did all possible to work with some ingredient intolerances. Drinks were high quality as well as the food. The vibe inside was very trendy, and intimate, but had outdoor seating as well. Would highly recommend this place.

The food was good, but too expensive for the quantity/quality. A small appetizer+two entrees, no drinks or desserts, racked up a 100$+ bill. That being said, our hostess was absolutely lovely and service was fantastic! Very cozy atmosphere too!

Any of these reviews that say Not to write home about – is a competitor. I’ve eaten all over this country. I eat out 4/5 nights a week. And this was one of the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. Anything other than a 5.0 is either a lie or someone that thinks they should get amazing food for $2. Jose was the best!!

Great tequila and mezcal selections, although only a few Anjeos which was a little disappointing. I really enjoyed the food here – house made tortillas were memorable with a tasty carnitas plate. Arugula salad was mid. Service was ok but I had to flag them down and wait a bit for attention. They were helpful and friendly when I got their attention, suggesting tequilas and bringing me extra spicy salsa (which was yummy). Small space so best for just you and a friend to go for dinner or drinks and a good chat. I plan to go back.

Street dining with heaters for comfort. Space is available inside as well. We enjoyed the Pork tacos with mandarin oranges. The meat was cooked until tender but was a bit short on flavor. The
Queso Fundido with chorizo and huitlacoche tortillas was tasty but the cheese was very heavy. We couldn’t finish and did not take a box. The flautas were our favorite dish, fresh and light.
The Salsa & chips; one with a tomato base and one verde were good but you do have to pay $6 for two very small cups with no refills. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. The wait staff was excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable. Seemed a bit expensive for what we ordered, $110 with no drinks for three guests.

Cool ambience, good mexican-Californian brunch spot with both sweet and savory options from stacked pancakes to omelets and quesadillas. No reservations required on a sunday. Indoor and outdoor (covered) tables available.
We got the pistachio butter hotcakes – fluffy, buttery, good stack of softness 🙂 turns out the pistachio flavor is just the butter spread on top, not so much the pancake batter. Berries on the side, good presentation.
Quesadilla was cheesy, gooey and pretty huge. The salsa was not spicy. Salad was OK freshness wise. I would come back to try their drinks- wide selection of liquors on display inside. I’d split 2 dishes and a small plate with 3 ppl. Good for groups and families.

Absolutely delicious restaurant/bar that is a great place for a happy hour. Great for those that don’t plan ahead since they don’t take reservations so we were able to be seated for a party of 4 with no wait at 6pm on a Thursday. There were still a couple of empty tables there as well. Food was delicious, appetizer portions are a little pricey and on the smaller side but the entrees are well sized, good value and everything is absolutely delicious. Plenty of drink options as well.
