New management? Place is filthy and hot! Used to have good food. We went in to dine inside and there was no air condition on in the middle of August. So we decided to order to go. It took 45 minutes for 3 entrees and 4 egg rolls. The egg rolls were cold and not cooked fully. Had to cook in my oven.

I’ve been happily enjoying the food here for 10 years with no complaints, and have always told people that Sun Engs has the best Chinese food on the north side. I’ve moved much further up north over the years but occasionally take the 50 minute drive to Sun Engs just to get amazing Chinese food.

First time diner for take out. Mongolian beef had a funny aftertaste. It was apparent that there was no care in the preparation of the dish. Egg roll was ok but no sauces were in the bag. I guess they don’t care about making an impression for a new customer.

Definitely not as good as it was but still pretty good. It’s unfortunate the prices went up so much.

Nice typical Chinese food restaurant with generous portions and reasonable prices. Definitely our ‘go to’ place when in the area. They also do delivery if you don’t want to go out. Don’t understand the negative reviews. Sweet and sour chicken is delicious, along with their fried rice.

This gem is consistently pushing out tasty Chinese staples with eloquent service. Hot tea, egg roll, soup, main entree. You get all of this for the lunch special and it cost six dollars and fifty cents. Spelling it out so you don’t think it is a typo. This is much appreciated when you live in this area and everyone is trying to capitalize off of you. I love these people.

Live the food here, they understand that extra spicy doesn’t mean hit with no flavor. It had kick but also great taste, plus the peppers aren’t dried, they’re pickled I believe, and add great flavor and heat.
