The food is good, and the flavors were enjoyable. However, the customer service could be more attentive and friendlier. A warmer, more engaging approach would really improve the overall experience.
That said, Sun City Caribbean American Restaurant in Decatur, Georgia does serve good food, and with improved customer service, this place could be excellent.

I ordered via DoorDash from them I tried them and the brown stew chicken was some of the best I’ve ever tasted!!!! The chef/cook did an amazing job! So amazing I’m ordering again today as I type this review. ♀️
On top of that I like extra gravy and they even provided an extra side of brown stew gravy.
They don’t have an option to choose extra gravy on DoorDash, but whomever was there on yesterday 02/21/26 around 2PM did right by me! Definitely ordering again!

My go to Jamaican spot! The Ackee and Mackerel was soooo good! Felt like I was back home. The soup is so good! Like, 10/10. I definitely recommend! I got a side of Jerk Chicken. It was average. The staff is always friendly and nice!

I was in the area and my freind recommend this restaurant. I ordered the brown stew chicken. The flavor was great but instead of chicken I got big pieces of what taste like ginger!! I was so upset. I live to far too take it back. My macaroni and cheese was delicious!! Cabbage was good as well. However, Due to the lack of chicken I will not be going back. The cashier was Awesome!

Super sweet lady at the counter, great service. Food was delicious and had great prices. I enjoyed it a lot, I got the brown stew chicken and the flavor is absolutely amazing, chicken was soft and flavorful and the rice and peas were great. I would definitely come back thank you guys!

I ordered a large veggie plate which came with Mac, cabbage, plantain, w/ beans and rice. All of which where seasoned perfectly. I also had a small veggie rasta pasta the noodles were the perfect texture the sauce is . Their sea moss gels are the real deals.

I literally just left…. 3 /10…. I got the jerk salad which was $13 for barely any chicken. The chicken pieces i was given were hard and barely any meat….. the jerk chicken plate 4/10… the jerk chicken isnt fresh… and the macaroni noodles are soggy like overcooked………… for $30 this was ridiculous

I got to say I really enjoyed my food. I was looking for something tasty, yet affordable and I said “Why not try this place”. I saw they had a few vegan/vegetarian options so I wanted to give a try. I am glad I did. I ordered the Tofu Brown Stew Small ($8.00) and the Veggie Plate Small ($6.50). Also a veggie patty ($2.00) I was pleasantly surprised of the flavors bursting in that and I would definitely try again. I really enjoyed the tofu brown stew. The tofu was flavorful, not silky and had a nice chewable texture. The Plaintains was great. It was sweet combination to add with the rice and peas. Those are extra to get, because of the wait he gave them to me for free. Overall everything was great. You can’t beat good food for this price. Definitely will come back again! Thanks!
