It’s been a long time since my family have gone out to eat and my mom wanted Chinese food so we decided to try this place. Big mistake!!! The worst mistake ever!!! The flipping food was cold, not cooked and tasted like old oil. The silverware was dirty and the table sticky. We paid $100 for 4 entrées, 2 appetizers that came after the food that was cold, 3 hot waters which should have been hot tea but was not and one beer. If Gordon Ramsey of Hell’s Kitchen ate there he would have shut them down!! It was awful!! My stomach hurts. Its going to be a long night sitting on the porcelain thrown from eating this food. I don’t think I will be trying this place ever again.

They close at 8:30 PM. I was calling them since 7:58 PM. They had the line set to “busy” so that they couldn’t take any more orders, I know how it goes, I used to work in a restaurant. So I drove all the way across town, because I knew I had enough time before they closed. I walked through the doors at 8:11 PM and asked the girl if I could still order, as I noticed the “open” sign was already flipped (19 minutes before closing time). She said she would go to the back and ask the cooks if they were willing to make any more meals.. They said no……. Turning away a paying customer who shows up within business hours is insane. They must be doing really well. So well that they don’t need my business anymore.

This is our family favorite restaurant! We LOVE the service, and the food can not be beat! Since moving from LA 20 years ago, we have been encouraged to try many authentic Chinese restaurants and were continually disappointed. That was until we tried Sun China!!!! Best we ever had! Our absolute favorite is Mongolian beef with Xtra onions. The honey walnut chicken is a must if we dine in so we can have that sweet hot crunch experience. It’s like a donut with chicken in the middle! Yum War wonton soup is great on a cold day. We take as many friends and family there that we can. Thank you, Sun China, for providing great food and service!!!!

My only critique would be it is a small space. It’s very popular for dine-in and take-out. My wife and come from Fresno just for their food. Great food and service is good, it is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the county.
