Sun Cattle Company is one of those rare places that knocks comfort food out of the park every single time. The steak fingers are incredible—perfectly crispy outside, full of juicy, flavorful beef inside, and paired with a dipping sauce that ties it all together. And the corn dog? Absolutely crazy good—golden, light, and full of that nostalgic fair flavor but so much better. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere feels true to Oklahoma, and everything comes out hot and fresh. If you’re anywhere near OKC, this place is a must-try!

We came as soon as they opened with our 16-month-old twins. We had to grab our own highchairs, and it looked like there were only two available for the whole restaurant. Since this is an order at the counter place where they call your name when the food is ready, it’s not a full-service environment, which is fine, but a few more accommodations for families would help.
The atmosphere was friendly, and the staff mostly kept to themselves. The onion burgers were great, and the hand-battered onion rings were delicious and held together well. They also serve local brews, which was nice to see.
However, there weren’t many options for children. We tried the steak nuggets, but they were a bit tough for little ones. It would be wonderful to see more kidfriendly choices; like grilled cheese or kid sized burgers; especially for a place aiming to be family friendly.

A really good place to stop and get you a burger if you’re downtown, really good atmosphere to enjoy with friends. And the hamburgers were really good, surprisingly we enjoyed the steak fingers better. I guess they’re called steak nuggets on the menu. But they came with a gravy and it was really good. We got a deluxe cheeseburger with onions, and thought that it was above average. The prices are fairly good too, the menu wasnt extensive, but sometimes that’s a really good thing. Let people do what they do well. I think you’ll enjoy the atmosphere here, and the food as well. Come give it a try!

You seat yourself look at the menu and then take it to the front to order ,there is no wait staff , they offer paid parking to park close otherwise there is free 2 hr street parking spots , it’s very noisy in here We ordered steak nuggets ,crowns, steak sandwich deluxe with onion rings and ordered a cheeseburger with fries. They only have Diet Coke or unsweetened tea for diet drink options . And they have styrofoam cups . Steak sandwich was good and really tender and crispy, onion rings are huge tastes good but made in same batter as chicken fry steak , cheeseburger was very plain. , it had grilled onion cheese and pickle , steak nuggets were tender had them with a side of white gravy I wouldn’t recommend the potato crowns ,

if you’re looking for an excellent hamburger in a no frills, “beef is king” type atmosphere, look no further. using locally sourced beef where the beef shines and is cooked to perfection, these guys sling out some of the best burgers in the city. opt for the onion burger for a real taste of oklahoma.

Wow this was the best burger in OKC!!! Juicy, amazing flavor, just overall amazing! We had the onion rings which are battered and fried in house, the food is great! Definitely go there, you will definitely see us there!!!! It also has a back in the day vibe!
