We inadvertently showed up during Karaoke night. While it wasnt a remake of The Voice, everyone was having a great time and quite a variety of genres being played. The food was good, the service was really good. Our waitress stopped by a few times, and a couple other members of the staff would stop by and check in on us, or refill drinks. It was a decent spot and he doesn’t like dinner and a show!

Ophelia’s is a great hidden gem in Albany! Have been several times and always pleased. Last night I went before the Billy Strings concert and the place was absolutely slammed on a Wednesday night, but they were still very attentive. The owner checked on us several times and was friendly. Food and drink were great.

This place is a joke! We just watched Matty D at Normandside’s for free. Followed him to Ophelia’s to hear his band Ginger Geezus.. Bouncer tried to charge us $20 per per person to get in. Never heard of such a cover charge! We bounced…the bar was empty. The band is awesome, the bar is definitely hurting for money.

Went for drinks and music. It was more like an EDM DJ that night with lots of lasers and lights. Not quite my favorite, but the people were awesome. Drinks were at a decent price and service was quick and pleasant. It would be fun to go back for some music that I enjoy more. It was too late to order food by the time I got there. Very fun atmosphere!!

Ophelia’s on Broadway is hands down one of the best spots in the area. The food is consistently amazing – every dish is fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with a lot of care. The atmosphere is unbeatable, whether you’re stopping in for dinner or catching a show. The live music is always top notch, and it really elevates the entire experience into something special and memorable.
You can feel the passion behind this place – from the welcoming staff to the way everything flows together so seamlessly. It’s not just dinner, it’s a whole vibe. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.
Ophelia’s is truly a gem on Broadway, and every visit makes me look forward to the next one.

Ophelia’s hospitality was absolutely incredible. I played a show there. All the musicians were treated like family and that goes a long way in our industry when you’re on tour in a different city every night. There’s just a great culture of a space and community that you can go in and really be yourself. Not only did we have a great show but we made great new friends when we went to Ophelia’s. Thanks for everything!

I had the worst experience. The “owner” was our server and he was a complete mess. It was a busy night, but regardless, never put our food in after an hour of waiting. Mistakes happen…but this was horrible. The other “manager” gave me a number to call the next day when it was slower to discuss, and it ended up being a fake number. Tried calling the phone number on their website, and service is down. The restaurant has a different name than the bar itself, a lot of sketchy activity going on here. Saw all the other reviews so I thought it would be a decent place, but I was extremely
disappointed. I don’t appreciate that I can’t get a hold of the restaurant at all. Never got our food, but seeing the lack of cleanliness of the restaurant itself, I doubt the kitchen is any better.

Shane provided great service and we enjoyed the playlist. The food? Pretty bad. Tried to order buffalo wings – which were on the menu – but was informed that they’re not bone-in, they’re actually tenders. Strange. Ordered a burger instead. Check the pic below. It was TINY! The burger bun was double the size of the overcooked, dry, unseasoned burger. The steak fries were okay. The ketchup bottle lid exploded off when I popped it open, revealing sour, bubbly ketchup. Obviously gross. We also had chicken tacos (wanted to mix and match but apparently everything is preportioned, so we couldn’t do that). The tacos were the worst I’ve ever tried. Dry shredded chicken without a trace is seasoning. They didn’t even SMELL like they were seasoned. We didn’t eat them. Unfortunately, there really aren’t many other restaurants open downtown in the summer. We had no choice but to eat here. Next time, we’ll eat somewhere else like McDonald’s. We suggest you skip this place.

This new place is awesome! It’s a great venue for music and the food is excellent too! Highly recommend the loaded fries with Opheelinit sauce! (See what they did there?)

There’s nothing I don’t love about this place. The food is fantastic the open floor plan is to die for. Cocktail options both with and without alcohol. Hot food and loud, live music. Going to karaoke here on Wednesdays is one of the best options around!
