We came here for a lunch break. The owner was outside and was very nice and welcoming. I called ahead and placed an order and it went smoothly. My friend ordered at the restaurant and was just as easy. The food itself for me was nothing to write home about. I got a two meat plate. My friend, however, loved and I mean absolutely loved his chopped beef sandwich. He said that was his favorite chop beef sandwich he had ever had.

This is the real deal barbecue as far as I’m concerned. Visiting from Colorado we wanted to try some real barbecue and this place hit the spot. The owner were very nice and friendly. We spent time talking while they prepared our order. I tried the brisket the sausage and the ribs all three were delicious. I would definitely give him a shot. Only downside is there was nowhere to eat right there but we’ve visited a park close by.

Our 1st time here. The food was OUTSTANDING!! We bought a lot of food for a family gathering and there was nothing left. Cut the brisket with a fork and ribs were falling off the bone. Great bbq flavor. The sides were just as good. We can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you Henry and company for a GREAT experience!!

I went there today for lunch. 3.5 stars. It was overall good but the prices on the menu when you order isn’t the same as charged. Chopped beef sandwich 10/10 but added cheese for $0.50 and it wasn’t on my sandwich. Sandwich $11 but menu said $10. Green beans had no flavor and straight from the can $2 but charge $2.50 and baked beans 8/10 $3 on menu but charged $3.50. I’ll go back and try something else. Total $19

We found this place by googling for bbq in the area. When we pulled up we almost left but all the amazing reviews told us to give it a try. Easily the best brisket iv had. I don’t even like beans and the baked beans were so good. It’s been two weeks and this is our third visit. Iv brought my parents and told all of our friends. I drive way out of my way, today in the rain to come here. Also it’s family owned which is a plus and they are so kind and friendly!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem, I got ribs and brisket. Both were delicious, brisket was seasoned perfect, had a beautiful smoke ring and was very juicy and tender. Ribs were also really good, in my opinion they were perfect. The sauce I got with my order was fantastic. If you got a craving for bbq then stop by this place, you won’t regret it.

Sumthin Real has fantastic BBQ. I ordered a loaded baked potato and it was huge. The chopped beef sandwich was so amazing. The flavors really were out of this world. If you are looking for a spot to eat then stop here and visit Henry the owner. He is an awesomely talented individual….support a small business that deserves the praise they are getting.

Stopped here because they had good reviews. Now I see why. Best bbq I’ve ever had. Owners make it better! When I ordered ribs they were still smoking. So I ordered brisket and sausage in stead( which were great). While I was sitting down eating the owner brought me some ribs to try! May just say they were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back soon!!
