For AYCE you have your standard nigiri’s and random sushi rolls that, but my favorite in this place is the squid, mackerel, super white tuna and the eel. They did have a random item that you don’t see often which was a spam nigiri. I ordered it just for fun but it’s pretty much a small spam musubi.
I’d say to stay away from the skewers unless you can’t eat fish or you really want to try it. When we got it, the skewers seemed really dry and flavorless.
We went there and they had a late night special for $24.99, which we couldn’t pass up. Yah there’s specialty items that only allow you one piece each but we didn’t feel like it at the time.
I really enjoyed the interior or the location as it immersion of the decor kind of brings you into a Japanese setting rather than just simple decor. The neon colors, cherry blossom tree and all the signage help bring the atmosphere to be more lively and more than just a restaurant.
When it comes to ordering, it seems like you can order from anyone that has a tablet. There wasn’t that many people so it was pretty easy to order. The service wasn’t super fast but the presentation of nigiri’s were fairly nice.
Rules(picture) … there’s a rule where you can only order once per person… which mostly had 2pieces per person. We thought they must be excellent let’s try them. Our tastes buds weren’t happy. The items weren’t even that great, I didn’t even take any pictures except for the sashimis that “looked” nice…until we realized there was added garnish of wasabi sauce on sashimis, also wagyu slices added lemon slices on top with an unpleasant flavor.. i didn’t get the wow and why there was a limited amount. Would not reorder ♀️. The only special item that was worth it, and understandable was the beef cuts. Super tiny tho like 6 smalls slices and limited to one plate. A large amount of the menu has sushi with philadelphia… should of look into the menu details beforehand… philadelphia is already far from traditional sushi but is just a distracting flavor element since it overpower the rest… just like how cheese make things taste good and you can ignore the other elements. Their fried tempura skewers, meat were dry and taste all the same
The least from our expectation and most importantly is freshness and balance flavor. It was the opposite….the rice (picture) was also overcooked kind of mushy… disgrace.
Green tea 3USD small cup a bit ridiculous(other places offer it for free or at least make it in good size.)
Be aware some days like public holidays or weekends don’t offer late night promotion. There is a sign at the entry counter only.
Unfortunately, there is better options in Vegas if you looking for nice Ayce Sushi place.
We regretted catching an Uber 20 min from our hotel with high expectations from the reviews.
Steak cuts were nice… one shrimp fried in coconut sauce was different and nice.
Service was on point, super fast and waitress was excellent! For these reasons I give a 2 stars.
That’s when I found Sumo Sushi. It had just as many good reviews, and though I didn’t have time to dig into their socials (I was in a serious rush), I decided to take a chance. I was hesitant—it was my son’s birthday and he really wanted sushi, but we’re in the desert, so I worried the quality might disappoint.
I’m so glad we went! We opted for the $35 all-you-can-eat to go all out, and it was incredible. This was honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had. I tried so many different rolls and sashimi, and everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be coming back!
We finally managed to place our order, but many of the dishes we ordered were missing. We had to repeat the same orders and repeatedly ask the staff about the status of our food.
While we were still eating, a server came over and told us that this was our last order because the 60-minute time limit was up. I really cannot understand this. Although we had been seated for 60 minutes, no food was served within the first 20 minutes after we sat down. I find this extremely unfair.
Additionally, there was a bug on one of our plates. After reporting it to the restaurant, the staff did not respond or address the issue. Although we did not actually eat the dish with the bug, this restaurant promotes raw meat and sashimi, yet the food they served contained a bug. Is that reasonable?
The “wagyu” shown on the menu is something you can never actually order, because it’s just a fake picture—the restaurant doesn’t have it at all. The beef they serve is either very tough or extremely fatty.
The food came out very quickly, and everything was filling and satisfying. The drinks come in bottles (not refills), but everything we tried was high quality and very tasty. Still, the real highlight is the food, it’s simply outstanding and incredibly fresh.
The atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant itself is stunning inside, very stylish and welcoming. The server who took care of us was professional, attentive, and fast. Not just him, the whole team worked efficiently. Every small detail was handled immediately: empty plates, napkins, anything we didn’t need was cleared right away. The place was spotless, and you can really feel the care in everything they do.
And the price, especially during lunch, is absolutely unbeatable for this level of quality. For such fresh, delicious food, the value is incredible.
We’re so happy we found this place and will definitely be coming back!
