This is my go-to spot for sushi. I always get the Lava Rolls. The portions are always generous, and the service is top notch. Whether I’m dining in or taking it to go, it never disappoints. Highly recommended.

The service for lunch was horrific. not giving it a one star because there was a second server assisting with our table who was much nicer. Our waitress made us feel like we were a bother to her. When we got the bill we noticed we were charged for something we never received. When we told our waitress she gave us terrible attitude. Would not return here if the food was free. The sushi is nothing to rave about. The fried rice is subpar. Would not recommend.

When I usually order sushi from restaurants around Boca Raton the portion sizes aren’t always the greatest, so I tend to order an extra roll/handroll just in case. I asked for the Jasmine roll, spicy salmon, and a spicy tuna handroll; they did not disappoint. Extremely pleased with the amount of good sushi and the freshness and quality that they gave to me and my wife. The order was placed around 9:45 PM, mind you they close at 10:30 PM that evening. The staff was extremely nice and professional over the phone and the restaurant when we went to pick up the order. I also asked for a little extra eel sauce and spicy mayo, (god forbid if we came home without the extra sauces I would be sleeping outside), offered to pay any extra cost, and was given to me on the spot. Very nice and cozy sushi spot and they also offer many hot plates and entrees of Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend, but keep in mind the inside dining tables and sushi bar do not seat many people. I would call ahead if you are coming with a small or decent crowd. Thank you again for a great sushi experience .

Perhaps sumo has a new sushi chef because the quality has gone down in the past few months. Twice recently I have been in and had bones in my salmon. I get it’s always a possibility, but there’s plenty of other sushi places that I’ve never had a bone. Disappointing.

This place <3 everyone here is great, friendly, giving great suggestions. You can usually tell a sushi place is good by miso soup, this place didn't disappoint! We were the only ones here on a Wednesday night. We ordered the Festival roll, the Hawaiian roll, and the Diablo roll, all amazing but the Hawaiian was my favorite. Plumb saketini was also brilliant, light with lots of flavor but also a kick. I'll definitely be back!

Had the sushi and sashimi lunch combo. Fish was fresh, the rice was perfect and never fell apart. Vibe was very comfortable with excellent music selection. Very clean. Definitely recommend for lunch or a chill evening.

Great experience that’s awesome for takeout but also cozy for a quick dine-in lunch or dinner. Service is excellent. The food was fresh and came out quick despite a busy lunch hour. Portion size, taste and value all align here. Pictured here are a spicy tuna roll and tuna appetizer with seared tuna, wrapped, lightly breaded then fried and topped with masago. Pink pickled ginger is my favorite so I did request extra. Thank you for a great lunch.
