I went in for my take out order. We ordered 2 rolls of sushi, pork gyoza, yellowtail appetizer, New York steak Dinner hibachi meal and changed the rice to fried rice for the New York Steak meal. When we finally get home to Ephrata, I start unpacking my meal only to realize I am missing my yum yum sauce and fried rice! We just sat down, the kids are eating little Caesar’s and getting ready for bed, I just really wasn’t feeling to go back to Moses lake for a $3.50 fried rice. So I called hoping to remedy this over the phone. I was left on hold for 8 minutes. I explained to the waitress what was going on. She goes back to the cook, she must’ve misheard cuz she thinks I’m missing my steak (AFTER I TOLD HER 3 TIMES ITS THE SAUCE I WAS MISSING AND THE FRIED RICE; I didn’t know the name of the sauce at the time). So she comes back saying that the cooks know they put the steak in the bag. And I said YES I already said the steak is there, it’s the sauce and fried rice I’m missing. In which she tells me I need to come in at a later date to get a refund. ?!? Um no. So I get ahold of the manager and she tries to insinuate that I’m lying and that I’m trying to get free food?! WHAT?! My damn fried rice is missing! That and the SAUCE! Why would I lie about rice?! $3.50 RICE! Probably won’t be back! Really disappointed in SUMOs. This had been our default date night place.

Family-friendly place. We did dine in and take outs here. They have coloring pens for kids too. People here are nice. Good food quality. My fave place for sushi. Even spent my birthday here.

Made an order through Uber eats which totaled almost $80 For three rolls in addition I requested chopsticks, ginger, and soy sauce. Did not receive Any chopsticks, ginger, or soy sauce called into complain and the lady who answered the phone just said she was sorry about that and would let her staff know. No offer of compensation or a discount on the next time I place an order. Very small portions for sushi rolls definitely better selection at tsunami

Lian took great care of us! Food was perfect except for salad dressing.. hubby liked it but I didn’t. Table height and both seat height and spacing is somewhat awkward.

Our server was great but the sushi was not good. When I arrived, there was no soap in the bathroom and the bathroom was pretty dirty. I let staff know about the empty soap but it was still not refilled when we were leaving.

The atmosphere was nice but needs a bit of TLC. The food was decent but missing the extra flair of other sushi places we have been. The service was great and the robot was a fun touch. The prices were just ok. The bathrooms were pretty bad and needed deeply cleaned. Overall it is a solid 4 ⭐️.

So me and my boyfriend went here for our valentine’s day date and yes we expected it to be busy. the atmosphere is very congested and very noisy. there wasn’t any background music so you heard everyone’s conversation. my boyfriend got the chicken yakisoba and it was pretty much just noodles and chicken no seasoning not really true yakisoba. I got a california roll and it was decent. overall it’s a cute place but very squished and service was not amazing.

Unassuming Japanese Steak & Sushi restaurant in a strip mall in Moses Lake. Prices are great, and the food is really tasty.
This was our second visit, have yet to sit at the hibachi tables, but it is nice just getting the food without the show.

Played it conservative my first time in and got Beef Fried Rice. It was a monster dish – flavorful and had some type of sauce that added even a little more. There were a ton of dishes on the menu and I saw several hibachi setups on the other side of the restaurant not being used. Service was a little lacking – I have a feeling it’s because I was solo at a table. Overall I would try again for the menu items and hope service improves.

Excellent dine-in experience! My son loved the robot that walks you to your table. Our waiter was very keen-eyed and made sure we had an amazing dinner. Appetizers were the 4- piece harumaki & spicy edamames. I got the Walla Walla roll and my son ordered off the affordable kids menu. I would definitely bring my family in again.
