Waited in a very long, very slow line. Got to the register, placed my order, and was then told they were out of vegetables. I didn’t mind the line or wait, but was annoyed that I was allowed to place an entire order before being told about the veggies. Cancelled the order and ate elsewhere.
In fairness though, I’m rating the service moreso than the food. I’ve eaten here several times over the years and the food has always been good and the portions generous. In fact, most of the customers didn’t seem to mind that there were no vegetables.

The lady who is working at the establishment right now as I type has the worst customer service EVER. I asked her if they had teriyaki sauce containers to go and she said no. After I clearly saw one sitting on the counter. I inquired about the the sauce and she said they’re only for delivery. I then asked if I could purchase a container and she said NO once again. They don’t value paying customers money. Date: 7/13/21 Time : 1748 hours. PG Mall Location.

I loved Sarku since 2011, but the increase in price and skimpy servers throughout the years made me go somewhere else. I came back today cause I missed it, I always order extra meat and I paid $2.99 for extra beef and they added very little beef! Better pay another meal and just add $4 and you get rice/noodles and veggies. Ridiculous! Extra means you add more meat!

I go to Sarku Japan on some weekends for their delicious food and it’s reasonable price. The meat is cooked in front of you, while the vegetables, rice and noodles are cooked in the back( you can’t see how it’s being prepared) Depending upon what time you go on the weekends. Its extremely busy you can expect to wait in a long line. If you go on the weekend I recommend being there when they open to avoid all the craziness and frustration of waiting in a long line.

I always buy food at sarku japan but unfortunately I’m about to file a complaint about this location. December 26, 2018 I purchased 3 beef terriyaki after a couple of hours all the three of us at home started our stomach to ache and we ended up in the bathroom almost all of us at the same time. We’re thinking that maybe the food was made before christmas and it’s been sitting maybe somewhere in the kitchen not in the designated cooler or fridge and it’s not in the proper container. I am a Chef I know it works. I love your food but I don’t like what happened to us. My husband told me let it go and WE WILL NOT PURCHASE from Sarku Japan anymore.

The food is good but the service is terrible. I also feel like theyare nicer to their Hispanic patrons. I say this because when I walked up I did not get a greeting, but the Spanish lady after me was given a friendly hola. I will not be spending my money at this establishment ever again.

First time at this location. The Taryaki chicken and rice ratio in your plate is like 1:3. You are better off trying other locations if you are a regular Sarku eater like me.

If you like food poisoning this is the best place for you they have very low hygiene standards no one ever washes there hands and the employees openly talk bad about the customers in front of there face in Spanish I’ll never eat hear again.

The customer service was very bad I only asked for fresh chicken and he cussed at me because he did not want to give it to me .. he said it in Spanish thinking I didn’t understand him
