The Seafood platter was wonderful! A mango pineapple fresh salsa was the start over seared salmon. Whole clams were light and delicious! you can’t go wrong with this view. Outdoor seating on the lawn by the marina and porch dining, with a sunset!

If you’re looking for a waterfront spot with serious Cape Cod vibes and a side of sunset magic, Summer Shanty delivers. While the vegan options were limited (salad was the only safe bet for my food allergies), the experience was lifted by our incredible waitress, Kristen. She was patient, professional, and genuinely sweet—an absolute gem who made us feel welcome and cared for. She even took photos of Ingredients. Truly customer centric attitude.
Now, onto the food that stole the show:
– My son wasn’t even planning to eat much, but one bite of the chowdahh and fish & chips had his jaw on the floor. “Perfect,” he said. That’s high praise from a tough critic.
– My wife went for the shrimp tacos and couldn’t stop raving. Flavor, texture, presentation—it hit all the marks.

There for lunch, very busy but we found seats at the bar
Got the bang bang cauliflower and streamers app. They were excellent.
For lunch we had fried clam platter and the best of cape cod jumbo size (lobster roll, cole slaw, ff’s and a cup of chowder)

This was our 2nd time here, even though it was a hot summer day on the Cape and it was raining, windy and dreary, the dining room was open. All the staff was extremely friendly and acted as though it was the best days of their lives and were happy to serve us! I ordered a beer, and we split a cup of clam chowda (oh. my. god, best recipe!!) We also ordered the seafood combo with fried clam strips and scallops, seriously you can’t go wrong with either of those. The Cole slaw was probably the best I have ever had, it was overly covered in sauce, I thought it was great. The fried calamari had a spicy Asian Zing sauce (or something spicy) but I’ll definitely get it again!!

A nice little joint near the boat docks. Stopped here for a light lunch in the middle of the afternoon and look forward to returning.
The jumbo shrimp was great, although the chowder was served piping hot. Took a while to cool down. Still tasted good!
Outdoor seating had some decent views.
If you need a little lunch spot in the area, totally recommend.

Our experience was amazing! When we first pulled up, we weren’t sure about it. It’s behind some stores and next to a boat dock. However, our service was amazing! We were originally on the deck when it got cold, we asked to be moved inside. The waitress made it no problem at all and helped us move. The seafood was wonderful! Get the haddock rice bowl. I’m not a rice person, but trust me! It’s so good! The lobster roll was also amazing and filled with fresh lobster! Ended out time by adding a dollar bill to the wall. Come eat here before they get too popular!

Nothing says “It’s Summer “ like dinning at one of my Go To Places, Summer Shanty! I have once again chosen The Summer Shanty as my favorite place to be to get THE MOST out of the The Summer Solstice, longest day of the year.
Over 15 Hours of Sunlight give plenty of time to have a great meal, and sip on a beverage of your choice. We always get a Lobster Roll dinner that is combined with delicious Clam Chowder for a perfect meal. So we mixed it up with the new Shrimp Rice Bowl which was delicious. There is always a huge fish sandwich with french fries that just melts in your mouth.
Never disappointed, always super service, fast service from the kitchen and bar drinks that keep coming make for my Favorite Place to watch sunsets, The Summer Solstice just make the best dinner of the year last longer. We will be back many times before the next 6-21!

There were no seats available outside, so we sat inside. I am not a fan of of sticky chairs or tables.
We both had burgers. My wife wanted medium, and I wanted medium well. They both came out medium. Really, how hard is it to properly cook a burger?
We had 2 waitresses, 1 very nice, the other just ok. Why did I have to wait 5 minutes just for a water refill? So why did I over tip?
