One of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth! The menu offers a great variety of selections, and the food is always fresh and delicious. We also enjoy the cosy atmosphere, its sparkling cleanliness, and the excellent service. Highly recommended!

Tiny local suburban Japanese with huge menu. Tried to book for a Tuesday but was told restaurant will be closed for maintenance, however they called a few days later with good news that they are able to open if we would still like to dine on that Tuesday. We arrived in heavy rain to a full restaurant. Favs on the menu were lotus root chips, softshell crab, teppanyaki prawns, tempura vegetables, scallops, chicken skewers, kingfish tataki and beef tataki

Adorable little restaurant located in manning.
Honestly the food was amazing tried a few options off the menu and all were very tasty!
They have a area that almosts aligns with traditional dining for Japanese were you remove your shoes and sit ant the low table!
Fun and great for the whole family to try different cultures. The food was the closest to what I had when in Japan!

Loved the atmosphere here, and really chill and zen. The food was priced reasonably and delicious. The chicken in my chicken udon was well grilled and flavourful. My husband had beef katsu curry, the beef was a little tough as the beef was slightly thin but it was tasty nevertheless. We really enjoyed the Softshell crab and our mains. Would highly recommend, and will be back for more!

Gyozas, katsu chicken and Yuzu kingfish were fantastic for the price. Nigiri was also fresh and served quickly.

Nice little Japanese restaurant with a traditional vibe and food quality on par with higher end restaurants.

Recommend booking ahead.

A Japanese restaurant with a interesting and extensive menu that’s both familiar and yet a little different. As you walk in, there’s a main dining room with your usual table configurations, and to the left is a semi private dining room with traditional sunken seating for a more special experience for groups.

We were a small group and tried quite a few dishes. The main dishes, largely dons, we ordered were average. The eel was a bit rubbery and sweet, the teriyaki was a decent standard but the sauce a bit salty, the Udon was average in taste, and the pork ribs was nicely well braised but the sauce again a bit too salty. The appetisers and sushi rolls were well made and good.

Service was very good, but with some tweaks to the hot food, this restaurant could be great. There’s a surcharge for using credit cards.

I’ve been here a few years ago and quite enjoyed it but this time round, I was quite disappointed. Although the place is small, it’s atmosphere for dining isn’t too bad. Food overall was average, not the very authentic Japanese flavours but still taste good. Chicken karage was nice but a bit over done, colour too dark from deep frying. The chicken Teppanyaki was an absolute disappointment… you pay for a main dish price but gets only tiny portion of chicken on the plate (see photo) which is absolutely ridiculous considering chicken aren’t that expensive to buy. The sauce for it was also super salty.
Not sure if I’d return again.

This is an incredible restaurant, I really enjoyed my dinner.

The atmosphere is inviting, relaxing, and real joyful.

The menu has so many options, so I will need to return many times to try more.

We had soft shell crab sushi, prawn sushi, chicken karaage, and agadeshi tofu.

The food is fresh, served quickly and delicious. The service is very friendly.

You know the feeling you get when your expectations was exceeded. Well this was the case here.

Wanted to have an assorted array of sushi, sashimi and a few hot items for lunch. Didn’t feel like bento, katsudon or the other usual Japanese usual hot suspects.

The sashimi was fresh and nothing tasted fishy. The fried stuff tempura and tofu was good. The udon soup was pretty tasty and the sushi tasted nice, looked homemade and lots of filling. The only thing that could improve was the rice for the sushi as it was a tad too soft. (Maybe they didn’t have time to cool it down).

Happy and satisfied dining experience!! 5 ⭐️
