ducked in here on a whim while walking by, and very glad i did. loved this place and will certainly be back to try more! the creamy tom yam ramen was so good, a perfect spice, exactly what i needed for a mostly mild january evening. shrimp shumai were the perfect starters as well, just enough to tide me over until the ramen came out – which, it was very quiet while i was in there, but nonetheless everything came out quickly and the staff were very kind and attentive. i’m not in the area often, but glad i have found a lovely place for when i am!

I don’t usually write reviews but we had such a fantastic time here yesterday that I have to. It’s a cozy and wonderfully decorated place. We went between meals so it was not busy at all, and the server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and kind. The sushi combo and karaage we ordered was delicious and a great deal for the quality, and it looked beautiful! The yuzu lemonade that the server recommended was also the best I’ve ever had. I can’t express enough how amazing the service was, I’ll definitely be back as soon as I can.

Checked them out on the second day of their soft opening. Very glad to have a ramen option in Arlington! Ramen was quite tasty. They also had a unique appetizer of “salmon skin tempura“ (pictured) that was delicious. Will put the restaurant in our rotation.

I recently visited Semen, and it was an amazing experience! The broth was rich and flavorful — perfectly balanced between savory and umami. The noodles had just the right chewiness, and the chashu pork melted in my mouth. The service was quick and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made it a great spot for a casual meal. Definitely one of the best ramen places I’ve tried — can’t wait to come back!

Ramen and sushi are the perfect combo. Both are great! It’s about time Arlington had ramen. I appreciate they use whole pieces of fish for their spicy maki. I highly recommend the gyoza as well. I like the vibe of the place too.

Ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Lunch Bento Box, and Crispy Spicy Tuna roll. Bento box was amazing, great variety and perfect size for lunch. The roll was delicious as well, love the crunch of the tempura on fresh tuna. Highly recommend!
