I can’t express how much this Ramen is the best I’ve ever had. I will caveat, I don’t eat Pork but their Chicken broth and Chicken they use is so tender, perfectly cooked and flavorful.
Secret way to order is get the Black Garlic Tonkatsu and ask for chicken broth and chicken. Your flavor buds will explode.
My wife who does eat pork prefers it this way too and she agrees it’s the best ramen she’s had and we ate a ton of Ramen in NYC.

Sum Ramen is the greatest restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life! I go here once a week. I have been to many ramen places, but this place is just the absolute best. The food is perfect and perfectly priced, the staff is amazing and know their regular customers personally and are so pleasant to be around, the atmosphere is so comfortable and relaxed. I love coming here after work and on my days off.

Absolutely love this place! Service is always remarkable and the food comes out fresh and fast! Lately I’ve been ordering Togo atleast twice a week and the food is still amazing! They put your broth on the side, so the ramen won’t get soggy! I usually always get the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the black garlic is my second fave! They also pay close attention to their regulars! Which I really do appreciate. I usually ask for crispy onion and chilli oil on the side, and they add it even when I forget to ask! It’s the little things.

So let’s first off say the food overall was pretty good and the service was amazing. We started with the boneless karage which was very very bland. It was flavorless and desperately needed sauce. The sauces that came with the appetizer was pretty flavorful that being said and saved the dish. The ramen here was also pretty good if a tad bit salty. The ramen we ordered were the sum ramen, black garlic and tonkotsu. they were all good but the black garlic had spinach in the ramen which I’ve never saw done before. The wait staff was nice but the food took a bit to come out making the time frame between the appetizer and the meal very large.
