Terrible Chinese food and arrogant staff/owner.
Unlike any other place in the country, they actually charge extra for takeout or they eliminate food otherwise available during in house dining. We ended up spending over $10 for a single lunch that we ultimately threw in the trash due to its poor quality. I bought this lunch so my wife would have something to eat and I went elsewhere to get lunch for myself.
FWIW, Mexican restaurant just down the street is MUCH better in terms of its food and the staff is accommodating.

My favorite place to eat in town. They have the best crab rangoon and egg drop soup. I always get the tofu or shrimp with black bean garlic sauce. Its always the same, delicious. The service is great and friendly.

Ordered beef with double mushrooms. Hubby ordered shrimp with cashews. Portions were very large;at least two meals each. Came with bowl of steamed rice. Beef had veggies along with mushrooms in a brown sauce. It was flavorful, but since you don’t get a knife, mushrooms should have been cut smaller. The shrimp dish was loaded with veggies which were nice and crisp. However, there were only 10 shrimp in the dish. This restaurant appears to do a good carryout business. The wait staff was very pleasant (potentially the owner) and attentative. Would return and try something spicy next time.

Come here for the lunch special! For about $6 you get an entree, rice, crab rangoon or egg roll and a cup of soup! My favorites here are the Orange Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Shrimp with Black Bean in Garlic Sauce and the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. It’s slightly Americanized Chinese food but this is Forest City, Iowa, after all, not Shanghai.

The services was lazy and kept leaving for the phone. The phone has 0 taste. Half of it tasted caned. The general zous chicken tasted regular but that was it. Dont pay $10 for krappy caned food.
