Sultan’s is delicious. It was my first time here and Mongi the owner was very nice. The chicken shawarma and hummus was so flavorful. The salad was excellent. If I lived nearby, I’d visit every week.

Friendly staff food was good overall I just felt like something was missing, not sure what. The environment was beautiful and lots of booths were available. Price point was a little high I thought bit then again prices are rising all around. You do get a soup/salad with your meal combo. Worth a try if you like hummus, rice, chicken etc

Everytime I am in East Lansing I try to eat at Sultan’s. Both my husband and I love their authentic chicken shawarma combo with lemtils/salad! I only wish that Sultan’s would open another restaurant in Holland!

What a great find! Everything tasted so fresh. The humus was so good we had to get more to take home. And we left with some baklava too. We had the Sultan’s platter for 2. Everyone was very friendly and willing to tell us about a few of the items we tried. Our favorite was the kibbeh. It was new to us, and the crunch of the bulgur wheat was perfect. Every item had its own set of flavors.

If you like Mediterranean dishes this is a great spot. You need to place your order at the counter there is no waitstaff. In door and outside seating is available on a first come first serve basis.

Went to Sultan’s for lunch and had just a fantastic meal! We both had the Chicken Shawarma Combo, and it was amazing! At the end of the meal we were treated to a delicious cardamom tea. Simply delicious! Would highly recommend Sultan’s.

If I could give this place zero stars. I would. Is possibly the worst food I have ever eaten disguising as middle eastern fare, disgusting cuisine served here.the kibbie was obviously a frozen variety rubbery in consistency and absolutely inedible, the hummus was grainy and flavorless, covered in an oil resembling, but not olive oil,the falafel were frozen store bought and absolutely yucky, they were stuffed with a stuffing, not chickpea or anything resembling middle Eastern cuisine, unrecognizable as a falafel, In addition, I heard the staff outwardly criticizing customers who were dining inside..so unprofessional.. Please save your money and do not dine here. Oh, and we were served soup to dine in ,in a takeout container..shameful..

Sultan’s is located near campus. They have a nice atmosphere where you can a see them prepare the food and the rotating shawarma meat!!!! There are nice photos and trinkets hanging from the ceiling.
The food was great! You can never go wrong with chicken shawarma, the falafels were a little soft, but had great flavor. They had more of the thick whipped garlic sauce vs the creamy style, but still great sauce!!!!
Take a break from studying and grab a shawarma from Sultan’s!!!!!

Time for an update for this fabulous place. The best Mediterranean food in lansing. I am never disappointed.
They have been around over 20 years for a reason! The food is authentic, the service is spot on and the place is very comfortable for family and friends to gather. Always look forward to going back.
