The atmosphere is amazing and the staff have been great everytime. I try to get something new when we are grabbing a bite and a few drinks but the Irish burger keeps calling my name and I of course answer. The calamari are full strips and have been cooked perfectly. If you have the chance to stop into Star for a lunch or evening dinner it is highly recommended.

I have lived in star and been coming here for years. It used to be great, the dinner specials were always so delicious. Used to bring the whole family. Had a bad experience with service and food a few months ago so I started coming by myself during my lunch break but I will no longer be coming here. I given 4 or 5 chances and i am let down everytime. Food takes forever and my burger is always consistently still raw and not cooked or cooked well done to the point it’s hard and chewy. The dinner specials have gone downhill as well as the quality of the food and the waiting staff is very unprofessional usually drinking on the job and don’t seem to care about your service. Last time i was there with the family we waited 45min for food, they messed up our order and the server seemed drunk so we left no tip on a $150 tab. I wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone. Its definitely declined in quality over the last year.

A nice local pub with great outdoor seating and pretty good food. The customer service was decent but nothing above average. The food however was delicious and very filling. The Lamb Stew is definitely worth a try!

Came out for some dinner and cards for the New Years and left with the best dinner/entertainment experience. I got suckered into singing a couple songs and had a blast. Great group of people. The food was absolutely fantastic, fast, flavored perfectly, and the portion sizes are GENEROUS. 100/10!!!

Wanted to go a little light so I had a Chef salad. It was incredible! Fresh as ever and made to perfection. I’m stuffed. Sully’s doesn’t disappoint. Great service as well!

Very upset. We have always have had great experiences here. My family of 4 sat down and we ordered 2 tri dips, kids corn dog meal, along with a soda (which was flat) a beer, and a mixed drink (which wasnt served until the food was) we noticed significant mold on one of the buns. Along with lack of napkins. We left and didnt even finish our drinks but still upset to see a business we loved going to allow this kind of quality. Only adding one star to post.

I was hoping this place would be a little bit better.
The decorated room is smaller than I thought it would be. Attached to it is a larger room big enough to hold a dance. There are some tables and heaters back there.
The service was quite good. Only two people working out front, and the place was busy. No complaints at all regarding the employees. They were great.
Two things I did not like.. the ambience, and the food.
I thought this would be an Irish pub, but it is more of a sports bar. Far too many TV’s, and the sound was on loud enough to make conversation difficult. The sound of the TV’s was eventually turned off, and I heard music instead. Not Celtic music though. C’mon. This is an Irish pub.
Take down the TV’s and play some Celtc music at a low volume.. that would be MUCH better.
The food.. I had a very interesting dish, which looked great, but unfortunately did not have much flavor. I’ve been in other Irish and English style pubs, and have had much more tasty food.
I’m bummed. I like driving from Boise to other towns to eat at great places. I was really hoping I would like Sully’s much more than I did.

Don’t go there if you are hungry and want to eat any time soon.
The service was pretty terrible. We waited at least 20 before they took our order. Then about 25 minutes until the food was brought out. We ordered desert and, after I asked if it was coming out any time soon, it finally came out 15 min later. It would be one thing if the food was amazing, but it’s pretty typical and nothing out of the ordinary.

Maybe I’ll try it again. But I won’t bring guests with me in case it’s another experience like this.

Went here today for some awesome food. We all shared the Coconut Shrimp, Breaded Shrimp, Calamari and an order of Halibut and Chips. Everything was delish and we could not get enough. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Definitely will return for more coconut shrimp

Guys!!!!!! The service was phenomenal!!! When you walk in is a cute bar but then since I was with my family we chose to sit in the patio and it is sooo cute and comfy. Sam was soo attentive and went above and beyond to get us treated like we were the only ones. The food was Yummmmyyy!!! Prime Rib was delish but my daughter’s Wings Uggghhh Great!!! Definitely recommend and will be back! Thank you Sam for the root beer floats!
