Good brew! I had the Partly Cloudy. Reuben was really good!!
Whenever we’ve got a cheese curd option, we’re taking it. He recommended getting the marinara on the side. These did not disappoint and furthered my proclamations that cheese curds are in fact, superior to mozzarella sticks.
The flatbread pizza I ordered was the Pigs Fly. Beyond delicious. Expectations were exceeded. They do not skimp on any portion, great ratio throughout. The crust was crunchy, but not hard. Not overly sauced/soggy.
The Badass Burger was exactly what the name insinuated it was going to be. Deliciously cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Upgraded from chips to fries, the fries were terrific.
We ordered a pile of appetizers for the table and a couple people grabbed burgers and sandwiches. Everything came out fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was amazing, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what I needed after a run. I stole a few tots and frickles (fried pickles) from the table and they were just as good. No complaints anywhere in our group.
John runs the karaoke queue and somehow keeps it completely fair while still keeping the energy high. He’ll even jump in and rock out with the crowd from time to time. He’s personable, friendly, and just genuinely fun to be around.
But my favorite part was the regulars. These people have voices of absolute angels. Meanwhile, my group… does not. Not once were they sassy, impatient, or annoyed while waiting for us to belt out our less-than-popular song choices in our very less-than-angelic voices. They cheered us on like we were headlining a world tour.
You truly can’t beat the staff, the food, the music, and the regulars. If I lived here, I’d be at Sully’s every Tuesday without question.
