Social Profile:

Suisha Gardens is one of the largest Japanese restaurant in Canada, and one of Niagara’s Teppan Steakhouse. Suisha Gardens includes a spacious lounge, Teppanyaki tables (Hibachi), a large Karaoke room, a Noodle Corner and a Japanese Style Bar & Grill (Izakaya). Reservations are REQUIRED for the Teppanyaki Tables, and we ask that your group (large or small) arrives on time as it will affect future reservations that evening. All Teppanyaki tables seat 8-10 people. We strive to cultivate a community, as such all seating is Communal with smaller parties grouped together around the table. For more intimate dining we recommend the regular tables (traditional style cuisine).

Playful dining site offering performing teppanyaki chefs, a sushi bar & other Japanese mains.

Wow, were we delighted with our dinner! Best hibachi food—from the onion soup to the extra crispy fried rice. Medium rare steak was the perfect pink. And the tempura ice cream is amazing. Such a fun dining experience. Great service and Tru was a fabulous cook!

Enjoyable! I tried the chicken teriyaki bento. The value for everything included was decent ($25) and filling. The presentation of the bento was neat and organized. Service was okay. The atmosphere and design of the interior feels unique. The teppan tables seem fun and interesting, and possibly worth visiting for a special occassion. Overall I had an enjoyable experience here

• Worst quality sashimi, poorly cut, uneven and extremely thin, low quality, worse than basic nigiri level
• Rolls overloaded with overly sticky rice poorly wrapped,
• Shrimp tempura was cold and damp, not crispy at all.
• Ramen Soup was cold, unacceptable for a hot dish
• Overall terrible quality and not worth the money
• Would not recommend and will not return.

Worst quality place in my 20+ years of Japanese restaurant experience. even worse than sushi from Cancun.

Great place, but not 5 stars, sorry. It’s too outdated in some areas. Restroom seems like never be renovated since it was originally built.
But! Great sushi, staff, atmosphere, location is good. Prices are acceptable too. We spent $110 all in for two and we were full.

Bento is nice and well priced for its content. Sashimi isn’t fresh but given the price maybe I shouldn’t expect much. Overall would recommend the place for the teppanyaki and cooked foods

Absolutely fantastic meal. Will definitely be eating here often. We ordered it delivered to the house and it got here nice and hot.
They had a great selection to choose from and we’re definitely going to try something new next week. Possibly heading there for the sushi bar and the sit down dinner. I’m not certain why some of the reviews were knocking this place. The food was fantastic and I’m looking forward to eating there someday soon. Salad was fresh and crispy. The rice made it all the way to our home warm and tasty. The packaging was secure and safe.
Delivery was fast. I’m pleased with this place.
They have dragon rolls. Spicy tuna rolls fresh looking sushi and several meal deals available.

Listen, this restaurant is in a weird part of town, but we went for tappanyaki and it was exactly what you expect. Great service, very friendly and our Chef, Tru, was really funny and easy going.
The tappanyaki side of the restaurant was busy, this restaurant is very big. It is dated inside, no doubt, but the food was good and the price was fair.
I cant speak for the sushi as we did the table service, we all agreed it was great and would come back with family for the entertainment.
Felt like a genuine, small business -family owned type of place.

The atmosphere inside was amazing. The service was great from the moment we walked in and had been greeted. The staff are super polite. Food was top tier definitely a must try experience. This place is truly a hidden gem in Niagara. Please give this place a try you won’t regret it 🙂

We loved it! Food and atmosphere was fantastic. I was nervous about the very angry reviews from some people, and after having been here I can only assume that the 1-star reviews are expecting some kind of lux experience. This place is not luxury but it’s delicious, fun and not badly priced for what it is.

We have been going to Suisha Gardens for the last 25 years.

The food and Teppanyaki ecoerience is spectacular. You feel like you are in a japanese home enjoying a typical japenese meal.

However, the décor has not changed since our first visit. Also, when you arrive, you are directed to waiting area. We have typically sst there for 15 – 30 minutes waiting. It would be nice to be offered refreshments…
