First time trying this Japanese Sushi house in Port Hope. Placed an order for pick up and gave time for eta. Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Place was busy on a Friday evening. Everything was very clean and open style kitchen where you can see your food being prepped. Great side portions for what you pay and the quality was amazing!!! Everything had great fresh tasting with the right spices. My new favourite place and will be back again!! You guys are amazing!!

They were really full on Friday but I must admit the service was excellent despite being so busy. It was always a service with a smile. They were apologetic for the delays and we were given complementary soup, salad (both black sesame and yuzu was yummy!) and other items. The King Kong roll whilst isn’t too Japanese, is a fusion roll but it is highly recommended. Taste really good. The others were authentic Japanese and well done. Very tasty and flavors were well balanced! Plenty parking as well on the side of the holding. We will be back!!

An authentic Japanese restaurant with good quality and tasty food. Friendly environment and very helpful staff. We came twice during a trip in Port Hope. We ordered the party trays and different dinner box and lunch box udon combos. We are happy with all our food.

My spouse and I are new to the Port Hope area and we were really craving some sushi. We went to Sugoi and it was amazing. The sushi is delicious & super fresh, the portions were great, and our server was the sweetest! It is honestly like a little hidden gem. We will for sure be back!

Such an amazing discovery in Port Hope! Sushi is generously sized and the torched butterfish melts in your mouth. We also tried the salmon peno poppers and it took jalapeño poppers to the next level. The place is small for dine in with just a few tables but very clean. Great staff, great experience – we will definitely be back.
