Only open for 3 hours on Thurs and Fri. We arrived 15 minutes after 3 and there was already a line. We loved what I think was a pumpkin creme Danish. Light and not too sweet. Delicious. Nothing was labeled but staff named and explained what was in each. Try to choose what you like and not with your eyes because everything looks good The cookies was too sugar sweet for us.

This place is dreamy!… show up a lil before 3pm to wait in line – it’s 100% worth it! The interior is so fun and funky, warm and delightful… very nostalgic and full of candy in candy dishes and quirky treasures everywhere you look so waiting in line is a joy. The excitement is in the air. I seriously suggest getting one of EVERYTHING. Everything they do is incredible… it’s hard to even explain but trust me your tastebuds will be in heaven… the flavors and textures are next level. If they have knishes – get them!!! Thank you to the lady in line who suggested I get an extra! And thank you to everyone at Hammerbacher!!

Amazing bakery!!! They have great croissants and a big selection of breads, pastries and cookies.
I totally recommend it for you to try. I am very picky with bakeries, and this is so far the best in the area.
They also have a very colorful and cozy sitting area for you to eat and drink your coffee.
Great place! Keep it up guys.

I’ve been here a few times. I always get their cinnamon buns! So yummy and fresh!!! I got a few new items this time. They always have different things especially fruits or vegetables that are in season that they incorporate into their bakes!

Firstly, keep an eye on their Facebook page for the most up to date details about offering and hours.
Owned and operated by two endlessly creative individuals that regularly test out different styles of service and menus. If you have an opportunity to stay for a bit they often have a main course as part of their offerings, anything from an amazing burger to a roasted chicken, that are even more enjoyable consumed there on premises rather than taken home and eaten after it’s cooled down. Plus they are byob so a great spot to sit back and enjoy a local treasure away from the normal hustle and bustle of the shore communities.
Note that menu changes regularly, while some items remain as staples, expect there to be seasonal and weekly variations. Don’t sleep on visit as you may not see the same assortment again.

I was very intimidated the first time I went in but now it ain’t no thang. There’s a board as soon as you walk in letting you know exactly what they have. The pastry picker will also help you and explain each product laid out in front of you. The other day, they had meatball subs and by the time I got to order mine they were 86’d from the menu. Get there early and be ready for delicious confections and savory foods. They started doing pizzas and they are amazing. The Smoked Red Focatch is hands down amazing . It’s like a Sicilian/tomato pie. The best part is the give you pickled items to eat with the pizza. It gave the experience a new level of enjoyment. The acidity with the richness was wonderful. The regular cheese and pepperoni pizzas are delicious as well but nothing can beat that smoked focaccia. A hidden gem that’s not so hidden. Get there !!

A crushing disappointment. Line was so long people were waiting outside. Very poor setup to start.
Extremely pricey! A chocolate croissant was $6. It was great, but out of the 4 items I tried, it was the only positive.
Had rose cookies which were completely dry n lacked flavor. Also ordered a mini cake pastry which was very underwhelming, especially considering the outrageous price. It was just a cake topped with raspberry n cream instead of having it inside. Dry throughout n not much flavor either. Just extremely disappointing. Pictures of cake below.
The staff was very friendly n informative. That was the best part of the experience.
Been to lots of bakeries. This wasn’t the worst, but considering the wait, the hype, n the pricing, I’d strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Amazing chocolate croissants!! We went Saturday around 11. We had to wait on line but it goes quickly. They ask everyone to wear masks because all the baked goods are out in the open. They had a great selection. Olive focaccia and chocolate croissant were my favorite. Everyone was friendly.

First time customer today. There was a line of about 10 people waiting to get in on a Saturday morning, about 10:45. It was definitely worth the wait in the cold. We tried the chocolate/hazelnut scones, brownie, chocolate croissant, cinnamon buns and a couple other items, along with a loaf of rustic bread. Everything was perfect and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other items!
