We picked up our birthday cake and the ages were wrong on the cake. I looked back at our text exchange and saw it was an error on their part, which the owner verified when he was alerted. They attempted to fix the cake but still was not done properly. The word happy birthday was not even centered on the cake. Looked like it was rushed. The experience eating the cake was a huge disappointment. The cake tasted stale and just simply it tasted like an old cake. The cake completely separated from the inner frosting like an old cake would do. I contacted the owners and was told my cake should have been served at room temperature and the cake was not an old cake. I asked for something sort of refund but only was offered a $25 gift card to THEIR store. The owner was issuing excuses and pretty much blamed me. There was never an apology and they both sounded put out when I asked for some sort of refund. Zero refund, and paid over $90 for a completely horrible experience. The ages in the picture were backwards, not centered, and the names should have been capitalized. I attached also the photo that it should have looked like. That is what I texted to the owners. Horrible customer service, shockingly, from new owners!

Sugar Jones large cookie platter: 48 cookies for $85- Here is what we received: 6 chocolate chip cookies, dry sugar cookies with a drizzle of royal icing and predominantly molasses and gingerbread (which are basically the same cookie); so no variety. Tried to complain, but we did try the cookies, so they will not give even store credit. It was an expensive disappointment. They are over hyped in this area; therefore, they do not have to worry about customer service. Never again. I was ill and couldn’t bake; I thought this would be good for my family but everyone was disappointed.

The customer service was amazing!! Also, the atmosphere was great. The rotating cupcake flavors are great as every time I come in, I am give the opportunity to try flavors I normally wouldn’t have picked out if every flavor was available. However, I must say their churro flavor which is there always is absolutely amazing!! Would 100% recommend this bakery!! I can;t wait for my next visit.

First time customer and I came in for their 815 day deal to try them out. There’s a great variety in store with daily special flavors of cupcakes. They also have ice cream, cake, macaroons and cookies (I live ten minutes away. This is dangerous.) The girls behind the counter had the best smiles and were very welcoming and patient with me as I chose flavors (with the 815 day line behind me).
Two of the eight cupcakes I bought are already gone and I’ve been home ten minutes. The cupcakes themselves have a nice soft crunch exterior and the inside cake melts in your mouth. Frosting is perfect and not overly sweet. 10/10, will be returning and stalking their Facebook page for the daily specials.

The cake was utterly disappointing in every aspect, the decorations look like a child made them. For 227 dollars I expected something way more extravagant and presentable but appearance wise it looks poor. The taste was also awful, everyone who had it said it tasted like almost nothing and some parts tasted like Oreos even though I hadn’t asked for anything Oreo flavored. The inside of the bottom cake layer was horribly mushy too. They had told me every part of this cake would be edible but the antlers were certainly not, I took a bite full and got a mouthful of aluminum and wire. The chocolate layer that covered the aluminum tasted like straight chemicals and so did the heart on top. I will certainly never buy from here again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to. The only positive about this cake was the printed image of the cat and edible rice paper wings.

i ordered 4 sugarjones cupcakes for my birthday, three of them wedding cake, and one of them chocolate because my friend with a severe nut allergy couldnt eat them. sugarjones took all the right precautions to ensure her safety. they were delicious!
