So cute and very delicious! Just wish they had a bit more seating! The ginger turmeric latte is delicious. The fig and goat cheese sandwich is a must-try staple. Egg sandwich with cheese and veggies on a biscuit is good.

Had the cheddar biscuit breakfast sando with veggies, egg, and cheddar, as well as the buttermilk biscuit breakfast sando with egg, pepper jack, and veggies and both were very good and definitely repeatable. The coffee was also pretty good, had the mocha and a cold brew with seasonal syrup in it. The space could be larger and the parking could be better, but other than that, I think it’s worth going back to if in the area.

I really love this joint. The coffee is always good. The pastry and other items are great. Inventive without being too challenging. Decent music on and the staff are really nice. I like that they have several people behind the counter so it isn’t just one barista being overworked.
But the flies are really out of hand the last couple of times I’ve come through. Get a bug zapper or something. At least enclose the pastry case. I was about to order a biscuit with berry filling but right as I looked at it not one but three flies landed on it!
I’m not going to stop going there, but I’m probably just getting coffee if the bug situation doesn’t improve.

Cute coffee shop with lots of pastry and breakfast sandwich options. Perfect place to sit down and people watch, the interior design is tasteful and sleek. Enjoyed the latte and breakfast sandwich, the buttermilk biscuit is flaky, buttery, and totally amazing.

Another Richmond favorite. I like their pastries, baked goods and desserts more so than their coffee drinks. Their sea salt chocolate chip cookies, macaroons, pecan pie, and their various sweet and savory croissants are really good. I liked their baked goods more than subrosa, it’s just accessibility, long lines and parking are recurring obstacle when coming here. Cart town street parking, stacked with long lines are rough sometimes. But kinda worth it if ya wanna treat you and yours

We had a lovely cappuccino today. However, our visit was marred by a demand at 4:00 pm that we were abruptly told we had to leave as they were locking the door.

Sugar and Twine is on the outside a very cute and charming building in an ideal spot in Carytown. Unfortunately their service has dropped significantly, they give snooty coffee shop attitude and at the outside window they sit on their phones in clear view until someone has been standing for atleast a minute. They do not separate their GF and Vegan option when they bag it for you, forgot 2 of my 3 drink order AND gave me my drink with whole milk even after requesting non-dairy leading to several trips to the restroom. Would not recomend.

This coffee shop is amazing! The moment you step in, the smell of fresh coffee makes you feel right at home. The place is cozy, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. I tried their cappuccino, and it was so smooth and creamy—just the right flavor. The pastries were fresh and delicious too. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Everything about this place feels thoughtful, from the decor to the service. It’s definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to. Great coffee, great vibes!
